Guest LexLugerRules Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 I'm sure everyone notice's this but notice how for the past 3 years, the backup QB, and the team who gots a new Runningback wins the superbowl?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 hmm...who has a new RB... OK My official prediction: The Dolphins Win the Super Bowl with...who? Ray Lucas at QB? Well...Fiedler sucks and the running game and defense will take them to the playoffs...so... YES!
Guest redbaron51 Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 Dolphins? Squish the fish is what i say, its the Browns this year
Guest The Man in Blak Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 Dolphins? Squish the fish is what i say, its the Browns this year Though I think the Browns do have a fairly good chance of cracking the playoffs this year, I don't think they'll fall under the criteria for this thread. William Green is the new RB, but Kelly Holcomb leading the Browns as the backup QB? Er, no. I'd actually have to put forth Miami as well, since Ray Lucas is one of the most underrated backup QBs out there (he had quite a run with the Jets a few years back) or even Denver, with the revolving door at RB and the fact that their backup QB (Steve Beuerlein) is a gritty veteran.
Guest cartman Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 ...and i'm gonna laugh so hard when we all find out just how severely overrated Miami really is. Patriots Fans UNITE! We have Jericho syndrome! Win the championship once and get held down by the Dolphins(HHH)
Guest Kingpk Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 ...and i'm gonna laugh so hard when we all find out just how severely overrated Miami really is. Patriots Fans UNITE! We have Jericho syndrome! Win the championship once and get held down by the Dolphins(HHH) Hell no, we're getting held down by the entire freakin' NFL!! 8 1/2 win line my ass.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 So you're saying that the Ravens have a shot to win the Super Bowl this year with backup to Chris Redman Jeff Blake and Jamal Lewis (who didn't play last year) at RB ?
Guest Choken One Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 Well...I hate to say this then...Here's to Dillon gettin Injured.
Guest Human Fly Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 its the Browns this year The Browns aren't the best team in Ohio this year. Well...I hate to say this then...Here's to Dillon gettin Injured. Don't jinx them, we need Dillon to give the passing game every break possible.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted August 8, 2002 Report Posted August 8, 2002 The Buccaneers Rob Johnson and Micheal Pittman.
Guest redbaron51 Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 all you all know, that the Niners will become the first team to win 6 super bowl championships after this year
Guest MentallyNormal Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 The texans will win. Hey they got a backup quarter back and a new running back,
Guest LexLugerRules Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 It's gonna be all Rams this year!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 "The Buccaneers Rob Johnson and Micheal Pittman. " BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Rob Johnson... HAHAHAHAHA Worst QB Ever.
Guest phoenixrising Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Obviously this means Jacksonville will be winning the Super Bowl for the first time ever. Why? Because Brunell and Taylor are injury prone, and while it takes a lot to knock out Brunell, one of the constants in life is Taylor going on the disabled list. So get ready NFL, because Jamie Martin and Stacey Mack will OWN YOUR ASSES!!!!!!!
Guest razazteca Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 The Bills will win with Drew Bledsoe
Guest Blackston Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Who Dey Think Dey Beat 'Dem Bengals?
Guest pearljamfan Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Correction its BRAD Johnson who is the Bucs QB not Rob Johnson, that sorry waste of skin is still in Buffalo I believe
Guest jimmy no nose Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Correction its BRAD Johnson who is the Bucs QB not Rob Johnson, that sorry waste of skin is still in Buffalo I believe Actually, they have both of them. Brad is the starter and Rob is the backup at this point.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 I'd take Rob Johnson over that little backstabber Doug Flutie. Team isn't in Fluties Vocabulary.
Guest LexLugerRules Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Rob Johnson puts the shit, in shitty quarterback.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Correction its BRAD Johnson who is the Bucs QB not Rob Johnson, that sorry waste of skin is still in Buffalo I believe Actually, they have both of them. Brad is the starter and Rob is the backup at this point. Doesn't matter, neither are anything special. Rob sucks, while Brad's arm strength & mobility are questionable. Edit: Go Dolphins!
Guest Choken One Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 I have to agree with the guy back...Rob Johnson has more Intergity then Football's premier asshole, Doug Flutie. As a QB...Flutie still owns Johnson. Miami is the overhyped team this year alongside Oakland... Here's a shocker...There WILL be NO shock team ala previous 3 seasons. (Rams, Titans, Ravens, Pats) Expect 4 vetern Postseason teams like Green Bay and San Fran and Oakland and Pittsburgh. Right Now...something tells me it's Green Bay Vs Oakland.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Wait, if Miami is the overhyped team this year alongside Oakland... then how do you come to Expect 4 vetern Postseason teams like Green Bay and San Fran and Oakland and Pittsburgh. Right Now...something tells me it's Green Bay Vs Oakland. ?
Guest Choken One Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 They are still better, it's just still ovehyped. Like Beniot...Good....Always overhyped.
Guest ShooterJay Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 What's with all the asshole stuff about Flutie? I've never heard anything bad about him.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I had to sit in Buffalo (and if that weren't bad enough) I had to do it during the whole Flutie/Johnson garbage. If someone can explain to me how that hack Johnson ever got ahead of Flutie (who took the Bills to the playoffs both years as a starter...then one more games as a backup the next year than Johnson did starting twice as many games...and everyone saw what Johnson did as a starter last year) on the depth chart...I'm still waiting for an answer. He's just terrible. Flutie is old...and not that good. But he owns Johnson...still.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Here's a shocker...There WILL be NO shock team ala previous 3 seasons. (Rams, Titans, Ravens, Pats) Flutie acted like immature jerk when Johnson was the starter. Instead of saying Ok, I disagree with the decision. But for the better of the team, I'll support Johnson, and help him out anyway possible. Flutie instead throws a tantrum and causes tons of problems for the Bills. It wouldn't shock me if the same thing happens when Brees takes over. I disagree that Flutie owns Johnson. Not anymore he doesn't. Flutie is 40 years old. He was terrible last year, Johnson's biggest problem is he's injury prone. Maybe John Gruden who's had past success with QB's can get Johnson to play up to potential. Oh and don't think Johnson is my favorite player. He's from USC so he's a dog, it's just that I can't stand Doug Flutie. Hope your right Choken. The suprise teams have really watered down the NFL.
