overrated bands

i can't in good conscience call the beatles overrated. They're not one of my favourites, not even close, but i have to appreciate what they did. U2 i have always seen as a bland, bland, bland outfit. I don't think tool or radiohead are overrated really, but i definitely agree with kinetic's point about bullshit hype hurting bands. And whilst i tire of weezer these days, pinkerton is damn good, as is the blue album. I think they're getting VERY samey at the moment.
