Guest Kid Kablam Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Well as far tag teams go: The Rockers (I know, I know, technically they did.)
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Too vague a topic.......is this supposed to mean a World title or one in the big promotions or what? You'll be very very hard pressed to find a top wrestler you never won a major title but there are plenty who didn't win a World title. For example..Jake Roberts never won a World heavyweight title but he did hold some major singles titles. The most notable being the Bill Watts' Mid-South North American title not long before he went to the WWF.If it means 'big 3' than Roberts might be on that list but I thought I remembered something about Jake having an NWA TV title in the early 80's. I'm too tired to do anymore thinking on the subject.I may research it tomorrow.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Well as far tag teams go: The Rockers (I know, I know, technically they did.) I'm just curious..if you know they did then why even try to include them?
Guest kingkamala Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 The Rockers held the AWA titles as The Midnight Rockers in 1986 had some famous bloodbaths with Buddy Rose(Of blowaway diet fame) and Doug Sommers
Tully316 Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Jake Roberts did have the NWA TV (Georgia version I think) title back when he was a member of the original Legion of Doom
Guest saturnmark4life Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Ok, let's exclude the hardcore title for chrissakes.. funaki er, that's all i can think of right now.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 NO ONE. Everyone known has won a title in a wrestling promotion around the world.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 nope. As far as I know, OuTtKaSt hasn't
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 nope. As far as I know, OuTtKaSt hasn't You know why? 'Cause he SUCKS .....kidding This has been the Taker Mark
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Even though Mick won the World Title, I felt as though his reigns were too short. He deserved at least a few months with it.
Guest Austin3164life Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Well I think that the best wrestler never to win the WWF World Title would be a toss up between The Million Dollar Man and The Rocket Owen Hart. I think that Ted DiBiase should've won at Summerslam or Survivor Series in 1988 after beating Randy Savage. Of course, the Orange Goblin would have none of that, even if Ted was the #1 heel of that era (IMO). Owen Hart is probably one of the best heels of the Attitude era, and I feel if he won a World Title, that would've been great for his career.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 If you mean from the AWA/NWA/WCW/WWF/ECW and world title: Ted Debiase Owen Hart Eddie GUerrero Scott Hall Arn Anderson Brian Pillman If you mean ANYTITLE: N/A The NWA/WCW/WWF had SO many different titles and SO Many different title changes that everyone who ever wrestled in any of those feds was a title champion at one point.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Hogan was going to lose in the finals of WM 4 tournament to Ted Dibiase. Wow, thats REALLY holding him down. Blame fuckingh Honky Tonk Man for being a prick, because he wouldn't lose the IC title to savage, hence the re-booking of WM.

I'm just curious..if you know they did then why even try to include them? The title win was never recognized or something. I forget the I added that little caveat to prevent someone from getting all technical on me. But officially they have never won the WWF tag titles.
Guest Tod deKindes Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Funaki won the Hardcore title at Wrestlemania 2000. That is all.

But they did win the AWA World Tag titles twice ..which would eliminate them from consideration anyway.

But let's face it, this thread was a bit vaugue to begin with. I posted this early before everyone started the whole debate over "major" vs minor title and stuff
Guest Ravenbomb Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 the Rockers match was taken off TV because one of the ropes came off or something
Guest gwf0704 Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 Major world titles: Rick Rude Brian Pillman Ted Dibiase Jake Roberts Mr Wrestling II Masked Superstar Bruiser Brody Mil Mascaras and the list goes on and on and on....
