X-Men: The Cartoon Show Trivia

Recommended Posts

Guest What?

All right, since I was just looking through my old comic cards from when I was around the tender age of eight, I remembered the X-Men TV show, which was probably the best Saturday Morning Cartoon show of the early-to-mid nineties.

The limit of wrong answers is three, so say three people miss this question, then I would say the answer and it's my turn again. You must wait for the correct answer before asking a new question. So say...I dunno....random name time.......chirs3 gets the right answer, and I say he's correct (or whoever asked the question says so) then he gets to make his own question.

Anyway, on with the trivia:

Who is the leader of the planet that is obsessed with TV?

Bonus Question: Who are his two main fighters for his TV Show?

Mojo

>Bonus Question: Who are his two main fighters for his TV Show?

Hmm, one was Longshot and the other was someone that Judas or Sassquatch would probably remember. I'll guess Dazzler for shits and giggles.

Yeah, that's who it was. Shiva was that one robot who's head exploded once in Wolverine's face in the comic book(like Wolverine #70-something, I think)

Correct, Starvenger.

You ask the next question

AlwaysPissedOff, you ask the Bonus question since you confirmed the answer. (In reality, I forgot :D )

Aiight, let's try and keep it simple, yet trivial.

How many "futures" did Bishop manage to create (excluding his initial future)?

Let's see...initial future...

The future with the assassination of Senator Kelly...

Then the one made because the virus never took place (although that's more Cable, but definitely involved Bishop)...

Then the one where Forge was a robot...

4 or 5 futures, becuase I feel like I'm forgetting one...

Since it's pretty late here, the bonus will be easy...

How are Cyclops, Havoc, Cable, and Stryfe all related?

Dude... come the fuck on! :P

Cyclops and Havoc are brothers.

Cyclops is the father of Cable.

Stryfe is the evil clone of Cable.

I don't think Strfye was ever mentioned in the cartoon.... and if he was.. I must have missed it. :P

And since we're asking questions non-related to the cartoon... here's an easy one since I don't feel like thinking too hard.

What is the name of Cyclops' and Jean Grey's daughter?

I'm guessing you mean "shown", so I'll go with that.

And the answer would be Jubilee who blew up an arcade machine when her powers went outta control.

On the show, when they fought X-Factor, who was leading X-Factor?

Hint: It wasn't Havoc.

Oh, wait, I think I remember - it was Spiral...

Anyone remember when Spiral ripped out Longshot's spinal cord [in the comic] ? :)

I'm guessing Forge, for some reason, even if it completely contradicts my statement of Forge being in Bishop's future. HOWEVER, I do know that the US government headed X-Factor...

That is incorrect.

The answer is Sabretooth. He was causing a riot in the middle of the city, throwing cars and bystanders around like dolls.

I have a new idea. At any point, I will jump in with an ultimate bonus question (knowing my memory and stuff, it'll probably be very easy). The person who answers that question must also have the question currently being asked and it's bonus question correct. This, however (if you get it right) gets you an extra cookie from Mrs. Fields bakery

Voice-over: Gooey, chocolatey, scrumptious Mrs. Fields Cookies!

Ultimate Bonus Question: What is the name of the Canadian mutant team and name all of it's members AND their powers.

I'm guessing Morph for the quote.

The Group is Alpha Flight, but I'm probably gonna screw this one up:

Vindicator

Puck

Sasquatch

Northstar & Aurora

Box

Shaman (Proudstar I think his name was)

Snowbird

Technically I think you could include Wolverine as well.

Jesus, Vyce!

I was surprised that my comic buddy remembered that, as was he, and he remembers the damn INKER of the third issue of the Phoenix Saga (no joke...it's weird)

Vyce controls the board....damn.....

Only time I ever saw Wolverine in Alpha Flight was in the "What If..." books.

Ultimate Bonus Question: What is the name of the Canadian mutant team and name all of it's members AND their powers.

Did you want the cartoon or comic version?

Cartoon:

Vindicator: Electro-magnetic suit, giving the user flight, some shielding, and some vaguely undefined beams that shoot from his hands.

Puck: Dwarfism, enhanced strength, agility and near-invulnerability.

Northstar and Aurora: Super-speed, and the ability to fire light projectiles when holding hands

Sasquatch: More back hair than Albert, and super-strength (~Thing-level)

Snowbird: Transforms into various animals that inhabit Canada, but mainly an owl.

Logan was never officially a part of Alpha Flight in the cartoon, but he WAS a part of Department H.

Comic:

Vindicator/Guardian: Same as Vindicator in the cartoon, but the original Vindicator (James 'Mac' Hudson) died, and his wife, Heather, took over as Vindicator, then renamed herself Guardian, then I think changed her name back to Vindicator when Mac came back from the dead.

Northstar/Aurora: Same as in the cartoon. Northstar is gay, Aurora has a split personality.

Snowbird: same as in the cartoon, was merged with Sasquatch for a while

Sasquatch: same as in the cartoon

Puck: same as in the cartoon

Wolverine: well, you know.

Shaman: same as in the cartoon. See below for more.

Box: Box I was a dwarf in an Iron Man-type suit. Box II was a mutant with some metal manipulation powers in an Iron Man-type suit.

Diamond Lil: Invulnerability. Got breast cancer.

Groundhog: Guy in the prototype Vindicator suit

Smart Alec: A really smart guy. ended up in Gamma Flight or something like that.

Stitch(?): girl who could manipulate small objects like sewing needles and thumbtacks.

?: Don't remember the name, but supposedly some God from North American mythology.

I think I may have missed one or two somewhere.

>Shaman (Proudstar I think his name was

That's only in eXiles v3, where an alternate version of Shaman was John Proudstar (Thunderbird I in the "real" Marvel Universe). Presumably, Canada encompassed all of North America in that universe, since Proudstar came from New Mexico (I think).

Hey Starvenger, did you forget Wild Child or did he leave the group or something?

I knew I forgot somebody. It happens when you do things off the top of your head. But yep, Wild Child aka Weapon Omega was indeed a part of the Flight.
