Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted August 10, 2002 I just finished watching Taue vs Kobashi in the first part of the 1995 CC. I'm totaly shocked that those were the same two guys who were stinking up the ring in the 1994 CC. In '94 they both looked totaly lost and were moving extra slow to kill time for the draw. In '95 they just went out there and started to beat the living hell out of each other, almost like they wanted to one-up each other on who could take the worst bump (Kobashi won that by taking a Nodowa off the apron, followed by a power bomb on the floor). Aside from Misawa and Kawada I'm not too familar on the AJ heavyweights but I'm looking forward to seeing what else Taue does in this tape set. I wouldn't call Taue great just yet, but he's improved a hell of a lot.

Guest Jubuki Report post Posted August 10, 2002 Well...we believe what we say - it doesn't mean what we say is always dead-on, but we sure do believe it. It is in the case of Taue, though.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted August 10, 2002 I just watched my first Taue match today, actually. It was him challenging Misawa for the GHC title in NOAH, so it wasn't in their primes, but it was still a fun match, with Misawa getting the crap kicked out of him and Taue keeping up nicely. Not perfect, but a solid ***-ish.
