Steiner instead of Hall against Austin for WM?

A match with Austin and Hall doesn't sound good for a Wrestlemania Main event, since Hall(who could be a good worker when he wants to) doesn't look like a real threat against the bionic redneck especially after Austin made him look like his personal bitch on Smackdown. If the WWF book's it as a WM main event it would look like a joke instead of a serious important match. The only thing the WWF got to do is immediately hire Scott Steiner (someone who looks more credible on beating Austin and who is a good worker like Hall or even better). Steiner against Austin looks a million times better than Austin against the drunken bad guy.If anything they should book Hall and Nash against the APA for the WWF  tag titles.

From what has been reported, Nash is the one who would face Austin, if Hall isn't ready to go. They should hire Steiner.

Should the WWF hire Scott Steiner? Yes

Should he replace Scott Hall in a WM match? No

 

Scott Steiner's physical condition is worse than Hall's peronal problems. Steiner's last 3 months in WCW, he had to tape his foot into place so it wouldn't flop around like a fish out of water. Plus Hall's match with Stone Cold is not being billed as a main event. Those honors go to Hogan vs Rock and Jericho vs HHH.

Steiner can be a good solid heel character, but I personally think his in-ring work is overrated. In the year or so time span before WCW was bought by WWF, when Steiner was in the main event, I wouldn't say any of his matches were high quality. He gave a solid match but he really couldn't go above and beyond that.

The WWF supposedly makes their talent take mandatory drug tests for 'roids and other substances, but I think HHH proves that wrong. Steiner passed a physical with the WWF so he's pretty much "in like Vin" and it's only a matter of time before he signs.

Austin/Hall will be like 3rd or 4th from last on the WM totem poll. Rock/Hogan and Jericho/HHH is the double main. And Jericho/HHH will probably go on last.

Man.....this seems like a real step down for the rattlesnake.
