Damnit...WWE spoiled SS for me..

Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout

The WWE is coming to Springfield on August 31. Well, today they had a radio advertisment listing match-ups we could see.

Well, the last match they say is the Undertaker will be facing the WWE Undisputed Champion Brock Lesnar.

Way to screw things up, Vince.

Well, we all knew it was gonna happen.

The Heatless Wonder as Champ~!

:D Boy, is that sure gonna kill the crowd. I hope we can get a Mabel KOTR '95 reaction.

Well, it's not like there was any mystery anyway. The only thing the WWE could do to fuck this up any more would be to pre-tape SummerSlam ala '93-era WCW next Tuesday.

I'm sure many of us knew that already, but you'd think that on radio spots that just your average fan is going to hear they wouldn't give away the result of their big match.

Brock Lesnar: Yet another beneficiary of Vince's big-man fetish.

It's not like it's a big shock that Lesnar is going to win the WWE Undisputed Title at SummerSlam. Plus, the card is subject to change.

If Lesnar vs Taker is the next undisputed program, we will continue to see ratings drop for both Raw and SD. That is not a good program. Then again, I am not sure there is a good program with Lesnar on top.

If Lesnar's first fued after he wins the WWE Undisputed Title is against the Undertaker, that means that the Undertaker will be turning face, which is cool to see. I would much rather see a Lesnar vs. Angle fued after SummerSlam.

Guys, Card Subject to Change" remember? Nothing is final.

Yes, but usually the WWE uses the current WWE champions as the champions on there future cards instead of the challenger. I'm not 100% sure on this theory though, but thats how I remember it.

All I meant was, that if you say your prayers, and eat your vitamins, then maybe, just maybe, Brock will do the J-O-B

I would laugh my ass off if The Rock won. It wont happen, but if it does, I'll be dying from laughter because Brock received the God push and he loses in the end.

Shit.

I can't believe they're actually going to give it to him. The match itself was pushing the line, but actually winning?

Shit Damn FUCK. I can understand if Undertaker had the title, or, hell, even Triple H. But BROCK?

UGH!

Same spoiler happend with J. Day. Taker was booked to defend the title before judgement day happend, ruining the Hogan/Taker out come altogether

Putting this in perspective:

Brock Lesnar will get the Undisputed Title before:

Chris Benoit, Rob Van Dam, Kane (he had a 1 day reign, but still), Eddy Guerrero

and will have a longer reign than:

Triple H, Hulk Hogan, the Rock

Off topic, but while we're at it, here's this:

Cut by WWE:

Mike Sanders, EZ Money, Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo, Lash Leroux, Ron Waterman

Given minimal TV time:

Sean O'Haire

Stuck on Heat:

Raven, Matt Hardy

Still employed, put on TV and (occassionally) pushed:

Rikishi, Bull Buchanan, Big Show, the Dudleyz as singles wrestlers, Mark Henry, Big Bossman, Godfather

I'm not sure what's more appropriate to say, there is no justice, or FUCK YOU WWE.

Also, remember this:

Chris Benoit- 15+ years of experience (2 WWF)

Chris Jericho- 10+ years of experience (2 1/2 WWF)

Triple H- 10 years (7 WWF)

Steve Austin- 13? (6 WWF)

Kane- at least 9 (8 WWF)

Undertaker- 12 (11 WWF)

Rock 6 (all WWF)

Kurt Angle- 4 (3 WWF)

Rob Van Dam- 11 (1 WWF)

Your next Undisputed Champion Brock Lesnar- 18 months (5 months WWF)

Paying dues my ass.

"Chris Benoit- 15+ years of experience (2 WWF)"

if Benoit stayed healthy last year, he would be much higher on the card now and he would have won the title eventually.

"Kane- at least 9 (8 WWF)"

Kane hasn't even been in the WWF for 7 years. He's been around for like 10 years though

All in all.. experience doesn't matter..

ask Yokozuna (7 months in the WWF)

or Goldberg (10 months in WCW)

or Paul Wight (won the WCW title in his first match)

Brock has been mishandled though.. he should be allowed to show more reasons for us to boo him. Maybe he could demolish Rikishi again as a messege to the Rock. Brock goes into the corner, flops down, kips back up before the Stinkface and just dominates Rikishi, F5 and a pin.

Then he can just beat Rikishi without mercy and Heyman can put heat on Brock (and not himself) by claiming that Brock is gonna destroy the Rock like he did Rikishi

Kane debuted as Isaac Yankem in mid '95, and I wasn't really counting his absences between Yankem, fake Diesel, and Kane.

-So actually, you're right, 7 years.

Edit: He was one of Shawn Michaels' Knights at SurSer '94, but I don't think I should count that one appearance as a year.

I would be shocked as hell if Lesnar didn't win the WWE Undisputed Title. I'd be laughing, also. After all, Lesnar is receiving this monster push, and to have him lose the match at SummerSlam would be something to see.

agreed. had benoit not been injured, he probably would've been put in the vengeance tournament instead of jericho and *maybe* even won the title. the fed knows how talented benoit is, it's only a matter of time before he gets a title reign (not a big one cause benoit can't really carry the company, but a courtesy or hotshot one like foley or taker).

Goldberg's a fluke because he was wrestling much stiffer than the rest of the roster. Plus, the whole unbeatable thing.

Yokozuna failed as champion.

Paul Wight was made to look HUGE and powerful, and how over was he anyway? I remember liking him, but still, I also liked alot of stuff that was really shit. Hey!

I don't know if anyone mentioned it...but The Giant didn't win the title in his first match.

He feuded with Hogan for several months (including falling off the building) before beating Flair at least 6 months into his time in WCW.

Yeah, Hogan got disqualified but Jimmy Hart made a stip that if Hogan got disqualified he would lose the title. At least, I think that's what I read (PWI Almanac)
