Inverted Powerbomb Q

Recommended Posts

Guest Dace59

Does anyone know if someone has ever done a plain inverted powerbomb?

Not a sitout one that most people do (misscalled as a facebuster, wheel barrow suplex, wheel barrow powerbomb and reverse powerbomb)

But a standing inverted powerbomb whip. Either from a rear wasit lock or from an inverted submarine (Electric chair suplex set up/pick up)

Thanks in advance

Ok thanks.

And it is sit out. Sit down means to land on your BUTT, with your legs closed together, ala piledriver.

Sit out means to land with your leags spread apart, ala Organe Crush, or Awesome Bomb.

Actually I believe Vader has done a standing inverted powerbomb though the name eludes me. By the mechanics of the move its looks rather rough.

Oh right, thanks for the info.

It would be very hard to make it look smooth, but I just like the idea of the move for some reason.

I believe he called it the Face Eraser.  Which, when viewing the move, makes a heck of a lot of sense overall.

I'm quite partial to Billy Kidman's WWF Finisher #27, the face-first iconoclasm.  It's a shame he disappeared from tv soon after, as that was easily his best finisher.

No way is that move better than the SSP.

Kidman's SSP was really sloppy though.

I'd have said it was an inverted sitout Crucifix Powerbomb (BTB) rather than an face first Iconoclasm, as that invloved a flip, Kidman's move didn't.

Am I totally mistaken here, or didn't Vader finish off Dustin Rhodes with a standing Inverted Powerbomb at a Clash of the Champions in 1995? I believe it was the one in january.
