Guest BigPoppaKev Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Is it just me or if you are flipping threw the channel and happen to stumble upon The Never Ending Story you can't help but watch. I must have seen that movie at least 20 times. It never gets old for me. Who could ask for more than a flying dog? That is great viewing for a kid and it is even great viewing now.
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Holy shit, Atreiu ruled the world ten times over. I demand a SE DVD.
Guest Kingpk Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 The theme song is great. "The Never Ending Stoooorrryyyyy, whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, The Never Ending Stooooorrryyyyy."
Guest Bloodice Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I will admit i have the whole series of never ending story my favorite set of movies, i mean how can you not get wrapped up in a book and see yourself in it? awesome movies
Guest J*ingus Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I have a weird relationship with this movie: I saw it once, when I was a kid, and it moved me incredibly; I still remember parts of it to this day. But I don't want to see it again. Somehow, I know that it will never be the same if I saw it again. Same thing with The Last Unicorn, Night Breed, and a few other random flicks that I just happened to catch as a young'un. Did anyone else ever have that happen to them?
Guest evenflowDDT Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I have to admit, I was moved by one sequence in The Neverending Story too. One night I was flipping channels late at night, and Disney Channel of all places had the film on, and it was right on that part (where there are the statue guardians with the laser beams and the kid has to run), and I literally found myself in tears. It was so strange...
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I just downloaded the theme, and it still kicks as much ass as it did when I originally heard it! The Neverending Story Rules you.
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I friggin' love this movie. I wish The Last Unicorn would come out on DVD. Fear the Red Bull!
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 In the 3rd Neverending Story, JACK BLACK makes an appearance as a biker gang leader.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 New Found Glory even covered the theme song...and I had many punk-loving friends who thought the theme was instrumental... WHAT FOOLS THEY ARE~!
