Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Match 1: New School (GQ and Chri$ Ca$h) d. Hurricane Kid and Ultraviolent Towel Boy/ Sonjay and Derek Frazier Solid opener, finish involved GQ lifting Hurricane Kid into a powerbomb position, then dropping him into a brainbuster! Match 2: Ruckus d. Z-Barr Ruckus hits the 450 for the win. Probably the usual flippity floppoty from Ruckus. Match 3: Irish Drinking Team (Chris Stylez and Ian Knoxx) d. VD (Jon Dahmer and Eddie Valentine) Dahmer turned on Valentine, giving the easy win to the IDT. Match 4: Ian Knoxx d. Eddie Valentine (60 days without drinking vs. Eddie's career) Finish came when Knoxx hit the Hard Knoxx Driver (?) through two stacked tables in the ring! I don't know if Valentine is done with wrestling, or CZW, or what. Match 5: Nick Mondo d. Rain Man Mondo was originally scheduled to face Messiah, but we all know about that situation. Since the ticket had already been bought, Mondo was brought in and squashed Rain Main. Match 6: NWA-Wildside (Lost Boyz (Gabriel and Azrial) Tony Straddlin, and Rainman) d. CZW (Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere) Ty Street, and Nick Berk) 4-man superkick from CZW to one of the Wildside guys. Big brawl in the aisle, which led to the Backseats climbing on top of the entrance. Acid hit a moonsault off the entrance, Kashmere hit a twisting senton. Match 7: Josh Prohibition d. M-Dogg 20 Apparently, M-Dogg's knee is still giving him problems. (He injured the knee at BOTB2 a couple of months ago) A slower paced match versus the one they had at West Chester a few months ago. M-Dogg did manages to hit a few reverse hurricaranas, including one that took Prohibition to the floor. Prohibition wins after a Tiger Driver '91. Match 8: H8 Club (Nick Gage and Nate Hatred) d. The Ratchies (Adam Flash & Danny Rose) CZW Tag Team Championships Chair shots for everyone. Ratchies bleed. H8 Club defend belts. Uneventful match. Match 9: Justice Pain d. Billy Fives CZW World Championship Match After the challenge issued by Justice Pain at Deja Vu, people were expecting a ROH worker or some big name to answer it. Billy Fives is a solid wrestler, but was treated like crap from the crowd, which called Fives "jobber." Pain successfully defends the belt, Fives attacks Pain after the match. Match 10: Wifebeater d. Lobo Fans Bring The Weapons Bloodbaths "R" Us. Weapons used includes, but defiently not limited to: Crutches with lightbulbs on them Computer Keyboard with tacks Lightbulb and thumbtack snow shovel VCR Carpet Kicker Window with tacks on it Ironing Board covered with lightbulbs Other objects wrapped in barbed wire Road Signs Chairs A thorn bush And more modified and unmodified objects No wrestling in this one, just a bloodbath with Lobo and Beater smashing stuff over each other. Finish came when the two brawled over to the main stage, where a table on the lower stage has a lighttube log cabin and more bulbs on it, about 100 bulbs in total. The lights went out, and Zandig threw Lobo off the upper stage through the lightbulb table once the lights came back on. Overall, it sounds like a decent, but unspectacular card. Aside from the Main Event, there is nothing that screams "must see." I would consider buying the tape, but not before buying COD3 or BOTB2. Next CZW show, August 31st, Delaware, Tournament of Death.
