Guest Jericholic82 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 So what do you think? I'm leaving tomorrow to go to the WWA meet and greet and then the ppv. I'll be back Tuesday and I'll post an on-site report for ya.
Guest HybridNetwork Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 I'm not getting it. I have this thing against buying pay-per-views where advertised talent are questionable to appear. Have fun at the WWA meet and greet.
Guest goodcleanfamilyfun71 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 If Macho Man is there tell him to send out an OH YEAH! to goodcleanfamilyfun71
Guest Dace59 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 I hope Chris Daniels stiffs the crap outtta Nova in the Jr. Heavyweight match.
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 I'll be watching for sure. OHHH YEAHHH!
Guest Tony149 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 I'll be watching. If Savage is wrestling Jarrett for the title...then "Macho Man" wins.
Guest poopsicle316 Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 Nah, Savage would never book himself to win, he's all about booking for the fans (bwahahahaha!!) I'll buy it, just to see Low Ki and Tony Mamaluke is worth the money.
Guest Freak 5000 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 What the fuck is wrong with you people? I'm watching soley for AJ Styles vs. Shark Boy vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Lo Ki vs. Tony Mammaluke vs. Nova Screw you all....AJ STYLES WILL LIVE
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 I'm ordering too...
Guest TheDames7 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 I'm ordering it for the cruiser match too....and dammit, if it ends up being anything lower than ***, i'm going to be heated. Dames
Guest goodcleanfamilyfun71 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 There is going to be a hardcore midget match on the Pay Per View, that's enough to get a good buyrate on it's own. Also Jeremy Borash said they are in contact with a few legends to drop in at a later time(By legends he's probably meaning Koko B. Ware, Jim Powers and the Bushwhackers)
Guest Dace59 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Damn.. if only I could get this in the UK.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 I'm looking forward to an alternative to the WWF. The Main Event is still up in the air (although it's rumored that JJ will wrestle Savage) That's fine. You get some cruisers...some good old fashioned ECW spot blowing from Sabu...and JJ vs. Savage is straight WCW feeling. Throw in some midgets and you have something different than the WWF to watch. It shouldn't be hard for them to put out a better show than No Way Out either.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 from puroresupower: Hiroyoshi Tenzan left Narita Airport a few days ago to visit Antonio Inoki in Los Angeles for "secret training" (i.e. visit Inoki's school and see what the deal is, just like Nakanishi will in March). Tenzan is in Las Vegas right now and will be at the WWA PPV. For what it's worth, Tenzan brought along his wrestling gear. This is a weird story. So maybe we get some puro thrown in too. The WWA is everything the WWF isn't. If they play there cards right (IE put on a good show tomorrow) they might have a small chance of finding an anti-WWF niche.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Yeah, someone needs to step up to the plate and give us a wrestling FIX! If my cable company carries it then I'll check it out. If not then I'll wait for Keith's review before pursuing it any further.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Screw the Keith review. You should know from his thoughts on ECW and WCW that nothing compares to the WWF. I'll let you know whats up if you don't see it.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 "Screw the Keith review. You should know from his thoughts on ECW and WCW that nothing compares to the WWF." Actually, he recommended the last WWA PPV and panned No Way Out so I wouldn't mind seeing what he has to say. Secondly, you and I are usually on the same level bps, so I'll wait to see what you thought of the show.
