I've been known to pursue mentally unstable girls from time to time. It's generally just the girls who are reasonably attractive but due to crippling shyness-- and the occasional psychotic episode--haven't really had a lot of boyfriends. A couple of years ago, I broke my "no dating co-workers" rule and asked this particular co-worker out, as I noted that she seemed to be responding to me in a way that girls who have fallen under the spell of my special brand of Inc Magic do. We were in the break room when I proposed that we get together at a later date and do something. She laughed--in a nice way--and asked, almost playfully, "What would we do?" Through some questioning, I found out the article was about troubled youth, which then set her rambling about how she wasn't ready for a baby, and that her sister was just jealous....

 

As I stared at her, unsure of how it had come to this, I realized that she never gave me an answer to my date proposal, and that I was hoping to hell she wouldn't change her mind. A few days later, she no longer worked there and I never saw her again

Nearby, another guy and girl was eating and the other girl went to the restroom and left the young boyfriend at the table. Well, when the girl came back out she had toliet paper on her foot, and the "kind girl" got up, and just stepped on it to save her the embarrassment.

 

I know that doesn't sound like any major act of kindness, but the way it was presented in whatever film that was it, it just really got to me. I love women who think of others, and just want to do great things for people.
