Pay Per View: Rage in the Cage

 

Rob Van Dam (face) vs. Masato Tanaka (heel)

- RVD and Tanaka face each other to determine a challenger to the World Title for the following night on National TV.

 

Chris Benoit (heel) vs. Booker T (face)

- Benoit is part of an all-Canadian stable, and Booker has been victim to several canuck beatdowns. This match is revenge for Booker. Coming to the ring with Benoit will be Owen & Bulldog.

 

Phil LaFon and Doug Furnas (neutral) vs. Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire (heel)

- This is to find out what tag team should challenge the Tag Team champions next. Furnas and LaFon are considering joining Team Canada, while Palumbo & O'Haire are nasty newcomers.

 

Flag Match: Lance Storm (heel) vs. Kurt Angle (face)

- Angle is one of the few wrestlers who've kept the Canadian group from dominating, and Storm intends to hurt his pride.

 

TV Title Match: Goldust (champion,heel) vs. Tajiri (face)

- Tajiri gets a TV Title Shot, but Goldust has been mocking him for the last few weeks, dressing up as a Kabuki, and having Marlena dress like a geisha.

 

Tag Team Title Match: The British Bulldog and Owen Hart (heel) vs. The Dudley Boyz (champion, heel)

- Owen & Bulldog are the heavies, and the crowd is starting to warm up to the Dudleys.

 

Cage Match: World Title Match: Shawn Michaels (face) vs. The Rock (champion, heel)

- Michaels gets his shot at the Rock, in a cage. Rock has been trying to avoid this match, throwing his lackeys at HBK. Michaels has beaten them one by one: Rock's bodyguards Brakus, Mr. Hughes and Kama. The cage was instituted to keep them a non-factor.
