Hot Pockets

Recommended Posts

Guest Nevermortal

Don't get me wrong, I love these things. They are easily the number 1 frozen snack food, but...

THEY BURN YOUR MOUTH BADLY! And there's no real way to cool them unless you open up some sort of a vent (by biting), and when you open that vent, you get burnt by molten lava-esque CHicken Fajita sauce!

Ok, I'm ending this rant by saying my favorite flavor is Philly Cheese Steak. G'bye.

I hear ya. Personally, I put mine in the oven whenever possible. It tastes better and you don't get the burned mouth as bad.

Pep. pizza, meatball, cheeseburger and chicken are always in my freezer.

Maybe you can sue whoever makes Hot Pockets for making them too hot...

I just jab mine with a fork a few times, and/or let them sit for a good 3-5 minutes.

I love the Italian Style Chicken Melt, Italian Style Meat Trio, 4 Cheese Pizza, 5 Cheese Pizza, and the Chicken Parm. The Ham and Cheese aren't too bad either.

I hate the Cheese and Brocoli, Philly Cheese Steak, Cheeseburger, Chicken Fajita (used to love it but had a bad experince), Barbeque, and Chicken Melt

All the other flavors are OK but nothing spectacular IMO

I work in a grocery store so I get them for my lunch breaks all the time, once you actually get them vented out, they cool in literaly one minute.

I love just about every type they have for these. But I'll usually grab a fork and peel off a section of the top. Or I actually take a bite, burn my mouth and let it vent. (So usually I use a fork). Or take off 15 seconds before you nuke it.

I eat the Meatballs & Mozzarella and just about any of the pizza ones.

And yes, I have burned my tongue more than once.

I've bitten into more than one that was still ice cold, even after the suggested 3 minutes max cooking time. Must be my lame ass microwave.

When putting it in the microwave, does anyone keep that paper-wrapper-thingy on it? When I do, it takes even longer for it to cook.

Ehh... I just burn my mouth every time instead of trying to cool them down because I'm an idiot <_< Claiming that your mouth was burnt badly by a Hot Pocket would be an easy way to sue someone, though.

My favs are Philly Steak and Cheese and Sausage pizza with Meatball running in a close second, Hot Pockets are one of my favorite food I used to eat them all the time when they served them on the lunch cart at school. They only had pepporoni and meatball and cost a $1.50(Most stuff on the cart is $0.75-$1) but I got those things every time they had them

I see in your profile that your from Portland. I'm down in Biddeford. Compare two schools, you guys had Hot Pockets, we had friggin chicken sandwiches with bones and soup with lunch lady hair in it.

Does anyone think that a hot pocket stand in mall food courts would go over well?
