Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted February 22, 2002 Look, they're moves rarely connect, they can't work 'matches', only have a select few moves to begin with, have no mic skills and never seem to improve. I love TLC as much as the next guy, but as a TAG TEAM what the hell do these guys have apart from a cool image? Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 23, 2002 In defense of the Hardy Boys I would like to say they have double team moves that the announcers and fans pop for even though they stole the "poetry in motion" from RVD&Sabu. 2) The Hardys work well against the Dudleys and Edge&Christian putting on great PPVs for nearly a 2 year period. 3) Even though they nothing but spot-fest workers they got heat with little to none mic skills. possible teams to work with in the future: Hurricane&Nova I wish!!!! And in reference to Saturn, you probably get pissed off at people botching spots and the rest if you had to put up with the shit he puts up with from indy wrestlers. Just look at all of the people that Tony Schiavone ignore during his continous rants about Hogan. With the announcer support be it King yelling puppys or JR busting out catch phrases or Cole saying doh. They all seem to make the Hardys look better than they are on tv with the positive comments. Guest Some Guy Report post Posted February 23, 2002 At this point most of the Hardyz heat is from Lita. Plus they cheat more than most heels with Lita's constant interfernce. Watch some of their old matches (99-2000) and then watch the current ones, they've gotten worse. Jeff can't even consistently hit his finish right anymore and Matt is a bow legged goof. I dont think the cruserweight division is going to totally get over with today's WWF marks. Hardys are only good for spots and l predict that they will be gone in at least 3 years. Now the pops they get are really for Lita and all they do is cheat. They've introduced some great spots previously little seen in the WWF and raised the bar to some extent. Kudos to Jeff for taking insane bumps, especially for such a skinny guy. I admit that they are pretty much stuck career wise though - I think they need fresh opponents, possibly a team with a similar style. I was a huge mark in 1999, simply because they were so new and different from the other teams of that era (The Acolytes, Kane & X-Pac, Undertaker & Big Show, Droz & Albert, etc.). However, sadly, they really have not developed as wrestlers or characters since then. Their entrance is the same, the music is the same, the clothes are the same, the moves are the same (spot here, spot there), everything has been the same with them for the last three years, and it needs a rest. I admit that the team has innovated some awesome stuff in the WWF, but they can't get by on that alone; they really need to learn how to work a good match without the high spots before they can be considered any good at all. Saturn is a decent Wrestler as well, but he's sucked ever since his neck injury and the only way i'd pop for him now would be if he reformed the Eliminators with Kronus or if he reformed the Flock with Raven, Kidman and Sick Boy (they are under WWF contract). They hardly ever vary their offense and really both suck in the ring. Look i was a massive OMEGA mark but the Hardyz are just stale. I swear Matt is the worst wrestler at the moment..he constantly blows spots and whenever he goes for the twist of fate he has to drag the opp into the corner as his positioning and ring presence is crap. Jeff aint much better but when he busts out a sommersault senton off the top rope to the floor i start to believe again! The whole Hardyz feud was blown off quicker than Missy Hyatts latest boyfriend and with little explanation, also with the Taker, that feud sucked and hell i cannot watch another hardyz match that looks worse than their matches they had when they were managed by Micheal Hayes. Push Jeff as a single babyface cruiser- matches with helms, tajiri, funaki, spike, chavo etc and push Matt of a bridge on to - glass, fire or that man beast lita whose voice gets deeper every week, Chynas tablets anyone..
