Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Oops. Well, at least I was half right. Maeda, Takada, whatever, both are shoot "badasses" who have never won a non-worked match as far as I know. Basically, since Takada was Maeda's protige, and all. Despite being questionably-legitamate (there's a contradiction) as far as their shoots went, those were two of the best when it came to worked shoots. Guest The Son of Sting Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Has Goldberg done any kind if training since he has been gone? (wrestling that is). He could have improved in-ring, not to a great degree.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Has Goldberg done any kind if training since he has been gone? (wrestling that is). He could have improved in-ring, not to a great degree. For all we know, he might show up in Japan and just be awesome. In WCW, we never saw what he could REALLY do, as they only put on for the public, what the public wanted to see, sorta like Hulk Hogan. The fans want to see Hogan go out there and Hulk Up, Big Boot, and Leg Drop... ...and they want Goldberg to go out there, and Spear and Jacknife. I'm sure Goldberg has plenty more talent than what we've seen, there simply wasn't a reason to warrent his showing it off, while in WCW.

I'm sure Goldberg has plenty more talent than what we've seen, there simply wasn't a reason to warrent his showing it off, while in WCW. Goldberg showed promise in one match (Vs. DDP at Halloween Havok '98), and after that he just fell lower, and lower, and lower into the pit of oblivion. Even in matches where he was veering from his usual "speer, jackhammer, end" formula, like Vs. Steiner in 2001, he sucked large and couldn't sell or pace his comebacks to save his life. When Scott MOTHERFUCKING Steiner is carrying you through a match, it's about time to just give up. 2001 Sting was better than him. So, unless bench-pressing everyday magically turns him into a great worker, the likelyhood isn't too high.
Guest The Son of Sting Report post Posted August 14, 2002 There is a big difference between "Kawada stiff" and "Goldberg stiff". I would say Kawada has controlled stiffnes, it will hurt like hell but he knows what he is doing. Goldberg is just "reckless stiff", doesnt look were he hits and with full force (watch the super kick he gave Bret). I would rather get in the ring with Kawada then Bill. Guest BigTim2002 Report post Posted August 16, 2002 So Kawada's GAMENGIRI TO THE TEMPLE hurts more than a Spear? I don't know about that one...
Guest Coffin Surfer Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Kawada is Stiff, as in purposely hit hard in a safe place. Goldberg isn't stiff, Goldberg is fucking sloppy. Sloppy as in is hit hard in a unsafe place, when he didn't mean to make contact at all.
