i smell a scam

My initial concern was not over the idea that he wanted a free CD, but that he using this as a way to get personal information (I don't know how personal, but anything more than a name is too much, ie Tel #, address..etc.) There are a lot of weird people out there, and ususally all it takes are a few key pieces of information about a person to find out much more than that, and in the end possibly screw you over worse than if you were sued in the first place.

 

I'm just glad Im not the only paranoid person around here.

hold out, ask for a face to face confrontation, and ask these questions, it can easily be some psycho using this as a false name

shit. now im really paranoid. i left my address in one of the emails and my phone number on his answering machine....and i havent heard from him since last night! ahhhh

1) Change your number... or block his

2) Notify the proper people

3) Quit worrying about it. This is a hoaz. Hopefully a group of kids are just laughing at you and nothing more.

Never make important decisions without consulting complete strangers on an internet message board first.
