Guest Si82 Posted August 13, 2002 Report Posted August 13, 2002 I thought that Alundra Blaze was pretty good back in the WWF. She had some good matches with Bull Nakano. Molly's pretty good too and she's hot!
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted August 13, 2002 Report Posted August 13, 2002 Out of the ones I've seen more than once....Madusa Micelli. There's probably a Japanese woman I haven't seen yet though.I liked Bull Nakano though!
Guest razazteca Posted August 13, 2002 Report Posted August 13, 2002 Jazz from WWF, she is the female Benoit Megumi Kudo of FMW are my favorites
Guest bob_barron Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Papacita- What about Chyna??????
Guest gwf0704 Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Wrestling skills: old school: Mildred Burke/Fabulous Moolah current:Jazz
Guest papacita Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Papacita- What about Chyna?????? Chyna's solid, but she can't touch Molly in the ring. I'm biased, but I'm not blind.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 With your attraction to Chyna- I thought you were blind. :-)
Guest papacita Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 With your attraction to Chyna- I thought you were blind. :-) I'm shaking my fist at the screen RIGHT NOW!!!! RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 I haven't seen much Japanese womens wrestling, but I can tell you that whoever the best worker is, she sure as hell isn't from North America.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Akira Hokuto..I mean, no one even comes close. Papacita-are you psyched about Chyna's upcoming involvement in NJPW?
Guest papacita Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Akira Hokuto..I mean, no one even comes close. Papacita-are you psyched about Chyna's upcoming involvement in NJPW? I don't follow puro, so not really. I'm interested in seeing her "new style" though.
Guest Haku Posted August 18, 2002 Report Posted August 18, 2002 I like Shark Pogo, Combat Toyoda, Megami Kudo. Megami is probably the best though
Guest Dangerous A Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 I've only seen 4 matches from her and I'll tell you that Akira Hokuto blows away 100% of the North American women and about 95% of the men as far as in ring abilities. And I am not a joshi freak either. It's just fact.
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I haven't seen much Joshi, but I like Megumi Kudo. In the US, I would say Jazz followed by Molly and Trish. Madusa pissed away any legacy she might have had during the WCW stint. Bertha Faye was surprisingly solid in the ring as well.
Guest areacode212 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Supposedly Bertha was 10x better as Monster Ripper. Bret Hart said that the WWF asked her to tone down her style. Can anyone who has seen non-WWF tapes of her confirm this? Here's an interesting article about her: http://www.canoe.ca/SlamWrestlingEditorial...aroche-can.html
Guest goodhelmet Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 it's true, hokuto rules the fucking school. aja kong has also been a part of some legendary amtches as well. seriously, after watching joshi, it's hard to call ANY north american woman one of the greatest.
Guest kingkamala Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Haven't seen Japaneese wrestling so I'll say Alundra Blayze from 92-95 her matches with (in Randy Savage voice) Bull Naka-Naka-Nakano
Guest deadbeater Posted August 28, 2002 Report Posted August 28, 2002 Madusa passed the torch to Mona (Molly) in an evening gown match. That's right, the blowoff match in WCW between two of the best workers in the United States was an evening gown match. No wonder WCW folded soon after. As for Japan, Akira Hokuto is the epitome of beatdown style. But she must put the other wrestlers over in secret, because she is sure unwilling to do so in public. Manami Toyota got the mad skills and creativity, but not the psychology to match. Aja Kong earned her psychology PhD from the School of Hard Knocks, featuring a few classes from Hokuto, and also possesses better tech than Akira. In addition, she sells opponents moves almost as well as Molly. So I pick her.
Guest dreamer420 Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 my vote goes to Trish. I have always known Jazz and Molly to be pretty good workers but when Trish arrived in the WWF she had no talent what so ever. Her skills are so much more improved and her matches have all be decent, with the exception of the Jackie Gayda clusterfuck. here is my top five: 5. nidia 4. victoria 3. jazz 2. molly 1. trish
Guest Maven's Eyebrows Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 X-Pac was pretty good before he fucked up his neck. I haven't seen ANY women's stuff from Japan yet, but the best in America right now are Jackie (not Gayda!), Molly, and Trish.
Guest Y2BigJ Posted October 1, 2002 Report Posted October 1, 2002 Akira Hokuto in my opinion is bar none the best.
Guest wolverine Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Akira Hokuto was the best ever, but the gal in my sig is my favorite.
