Sports: "A possible WrestleMania match could be an inter-gender tag team bout with The Hardy Boys and Lita taking on The Dudley Boys and Stacy Keibler." The booking for Mania is looking worse by the day. I've mentioned previously how the only way the WWF booking could get any lazier was to book an Intergender match and now it has come true. Seriously, how many people are interested in another Hardys-Duds match ,then they will bring the workrate down even more by throwing two untalented women who don't really know how to wrestle. This wrestlemania will go down as the one with the most amounts of suck and a contender for worst PPV of all time. This also seems to defy the laws of physics considering you have a healthy Kurt Angle, RVD, Lance Storm, Raven, etc. But Angle and RVD don't even have matches yet!!! Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted February 23, 2002 That inter-gender match happened on SD already. No one cares about the Dudleys or the Hardyz. However, as much as people bitch about how both teams are boring, it seems no one (myself included) has any GOOD ideas creatively for these guys. I've thought and thought and both teams are just in a serious rut right now. Maybe send the Hardyz to Mexico and the Dudleys to Japan for like 6 months and then bring them back. If a heel turn should be made, I'd like to see it be the Hardyz. That way they can be the little pip squeak team that bumps like mad for big teams like APA and then barely get the win. No one cares about either of these teams and no one would give a hot fuck about another goddamn feud between them. Now, I'm not expecting every match at Mania to be perfect or anything like that, but COME THE FUCK ON! Both of these teams need a few weeks/months away from TV, but it won't happen anytime soon and we will be cursed to watch this feud drag ON AND ON like friggin Sting/Vader. You'd think after having these two teams face off against each other at the last 2 WM's would tell the WWF that maybe it's time for a change. I'll give them credit when they tried to break up the Hardlyz, but the horrible acting and TERRIBLE match between them at Vengeance killed the feud dead. Now, the Dudleyz on the other hand, need a face turn in the worst possible way. They already have the Outsiders, Billy & Chucky, and MAYBE Storm/Christian. That's enough heel teams for one fed. I remember someone suggested a double turn for the Hardlyz and Dudleyz and that sounds liek the best course of action to take when both of these teams are as stale as these two are. Who knows, maybe it will inspire both of them to put on more quality stuff and they could make Hall and Nash look good. On a side note, it's time to get rid of the APA for good. I don't suppose it will ever happen. :-( I bet they could get over as a HUGE heel tag-team if they did that... ...another thing I'd do, and I'm SURE you guys will hate me for this, is to put "Brother Love" with them as their manager, and kick Stacey to the curb. Guest areacode212 Report post Posted February 23, 2002 Yeah, probably the main thing that got the Dudleys over as heels in ECW wasn't their in-ring work, it was those profanity-laced pre-match promos they would cut. They could still do some of that stuff (insulting the people in the front row) and not have to swear, and they would be a hell of a lot more interesting than they are now.
