Another reason to hate Steph

One storyline that appears likely to play out on WWE TV is to have Stacy Keibler, who just jumped to Raw with Eric Bischoff, be revealed to have been working for Stephanie McMahon all along.

 

WWE is intent on getting Stephanie over as a face, even at the expense of Bischoff. While Bischoff is being praised for doing a tremendous job in his role as Raw GM, there is no word on how long he'll be around, and the argument is that Stephanie will be around forever.

They have to realize Bischoff has brought freshness to their stale shows. Steph is not getting over as a face one bit and needs to go.

But I do hate Stacy's ability to try to act. I know Steph isn't the greatest, but Stacy makes her look like fucking Julia Roberts or something. Stacy= GM= me tuning into MNF game.

I still don't understand why Ms Super Heel Steph was the face GM to begin with, when they could have gone with almost anyone else. Like, say, Shane, who the crowd would probably accept as a face. *sigh*

 

It's just best to accept the fact that Vince will bury Bisch at some point. That's probably the whole point for him. And honestly, McMahon raked in something like 1.9 mil just by himself. He can trash his show and still be rich.

Its a shame, because I enjoy Bischoff a whole lot more as GM then I do Steph. Shane should have been the Smackdown GM, I think that would have worked out better...

 

I keep having nightmares of a Bischoff vs Stephanie Match that ends the GM vs GM fued...

Well RavishingRickRudo, I guess we have our differing opinions. I just feel Steph is a better actress than Stacy. I feel Nidia is a better actress than Stacy. But that's just me.

 

Back to the original post, how does Stacy going to Raw help make Steph a bigger babyface? If anything, it'll make Steph a bigger heel. The writers haven't done anything to make the crowd hate Stacy. Since when does doing strip teases make you a heel when you look like Stacy? It doesn't. This whole story seems to come out of the "Let's keep our readers by giving them this dirt story" pile. Shame on Meltzer. This story doesn't make sense from the Steph side.

 

I can bottom line this thread: While Bischoff is doing a good job in his role, GM/Vice President/CEO/Commisioner roles don't draw any money. You can point to Vince/Austin, but that is the exception, not the rule. Foley as commisioner wasn't the draw in 2000, Rock/HHH/Taker/Angle/Jericho were. GM=who gives a fuck. Just give us good matches and coherent storylines, then stupid rumors like "Stacy to be next Raw GM" can go the fuck away.

I feel bad for Bischoff. There is no way he comes out of this looking good IMO. As soon as he shows the slightest downturn in the effects on ratings Vince is going to bury him so bad on TV. Just because someone had the audacity to beat Vince at his own game Vince can't just take it like a man and needs to get his revenge (Hint to Vince: The other company is out of business I think you won). The fact he is going to be sacrificed at the alter of Stephanie is a disgrace.

 

I would like to see some of the wrestlers (i.e. The Vanilla Midgets) faces when the eventual burial happens. I am sure there will be a smile creeping across their faces.

If Stacy becomes the new GM, gahh. That would seriously turn me off from watching it altogether. Stacy sucks, she's useless. And then we'll have two "face" managers? WTF? It makes absolutley NO sense. At least Stephanie is a McMahon and has a remote reason to be in charge, but Stacy? Bisch is great, don't take him off. I hate the WWE.

I think the only saving grace for Bischoff is that he is friends with Goldberg and we all know Vince is doing what he can to bring Goldberg in.
