Steve Austin arrested

Recommended Posts

Guest HartFan86

"Former wrestling superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is arrested on charges of spousal abuse. The charges stem from an incident on June 15th. Austin's real name is Steve Williams.

His wife Debora Williams claims he punched her in the face and back at their San Antonio home. The charge is a class a misdemeanor assault.

His bond is set at five thousand dollars and he's expected to spend very little if any time in jail. All of that would change of course if he's convicted. He could spend up to a year behind bars and pay a $4,000.00 fine."

Good. No more "What?!" crap on my TV for at least a year. I am so happy that the fans have finally stopped chanting that.

My bad...I'll edit it.

Also, 1wrestling.com reported it as well...so I believe wrestlingexposed.com got the story from 1wrestling.com.

Well... she pressed charges, so I guess they didn't "patch" things up... I wonder if a divorce is next?

I thought they reconciled as well. I guess not. Now that Austin's not in the spotlight anymore...I wouldn't be surprised if they do get a divorce. What a shame, though.

Too bad, I guess we won't see the return of Austin ever after this.

I don't think Vince is gunna bring back an ex-convict that had this much publicity on his arrest.

I guess the only way I'll enjoy Austin from now on is when I put a VHS or DVD in and look back on his carrer. :(

This really bites. I had him pegged to come back before Survivor Series. That is a ton of heat and that's more pressure for Vince to NOT bring him back. Dammit.

It's now being reported Steve Austin has posted bond:

"My mom had been watching KSAT12. About 15 minutes later Gregg Simmons, a news reporter, announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin had been arrested at 3:00pm here in San Antonio. He mentioned that his real name had been Steve Williams and that the police had had a warrant for his arrest ever since June. He said that Austin had turned himself in and then later had been released. They showed a clip of Austin talking to somebody which was in the clip that you already put up. For those of you who don't know why the police had a warrant for Austin's arrest is because he had assaulted his wife Debra. Stone Cold was released when he had posted a $5,000 bond."

The way this is being put...it looks like Austin turned himself in so the warrant would be dropped and the charges would be off him.

Mr. Williams you have the right to remain silent.

WHAT?

Anything you say or do can and will be used against you in a court of law.

WHAT?

You did the wrong thing, bah gawd.

WHAT?

You hit your wife.

WHAT?

And most importantly, you walked out on the WWE.

WHAT?

All we wanted you to do was job to Brock.

WHAT?

But you chose to get the F out instead.

WHAT?

Now you will be getting the F in.

WHAT?

The F in jail.

WHAT?

And the F in when you shower with the others.

WHAT?

That's right just like what you watched Bradshaw do.

WHAT?

You could've jobbed to the black and white, put them over.

WHAT?

But they died.

WHAT?

Here, both the black and white will refuse to put YOU over.

WHAT?

They'll get you Austin.

WHAT?

BAH GAWD!

"I have no sympathy for him what so ever. The bastard deserves it "

My feelings the same as regards to this particular incident. I feel bad because I like to see him in wrestling, but as far as beating your wife, that is uncalled for. Whatever his punishment is, whether it's just a fine or time in jail, he deserves it. There is no reason for a 240 ib man to hit a 110 ib woman. Not one reason.

Well that just means he doesn't have to wait in jail until his trial or whatever and if he is given the most severe penalty he could be in jail for a year following the trial.

I agree... I don't hate Steve Austin. I miss the guy... I finally realized that a few weeks ago. You never miss something until it's gone, and I'd love to see him back again someday so that he can go out in a fitting way

But as for what he did... it really pisses me off, and from what I hear, it's not the first time, and I'm not talking about just with Debra. Maybe some jail time and some ass raping will do him some good

It's just amazing that all the fucking fans he has (myself included) can no longer look up to him cause he's a wifebeater. If that's not depressing, then I don't know what is. I mean...god, how about all those kids that love Steve Austin? How do you explain to them that he's an asshole in real life?

Kid: "Daddy, what happened to Stone Cold?"

Dad: "He beat up his wife and is in trouble with the law."

This just kills me that he's turned into this. Like Bob said 'How have the mighty fallen"

That's true...I'll re-word it.

Man, I'm on a role for messing up in this thread!

This is just a strange situation.

Bret mentally fell apart in a very public manner.

And now Austin is falling apart before our very eyes.

Why does wrestling have a habit of screwing up it's very best?

Who knows if Vince will take Austin back? He did take Ken Patera back after a few years in jail. As far as Debra goe, if he did beat her he deserves anything that comes his way, but in some respects you must see that there's a name for what Debra comes off as, a Gold Digger.
