Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Report post Posted August 14, 2002 First off, who makes the bette milkshakes? Doesn't matter to me one bit either way. Second off... Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Actually, BK doesn't have "milk"shakes -- look at the menu, and you'll see what I mean.
Guest EricMM Report post Posted August 14, 2002 yeah aren't they just called "shakes" do to the fact that they contain no dairy what so ever?
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted August 14, 2002 I am not high on either. In&Outs are ok, but you have to let them melt a little, because it seems like they literally scoop ice cream into the cup.....
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted August 14, 2002 I prefer Harvey's milk shakes up here in Canada.

Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Something that bugs me: Jack in the Box advertises that they make their milkshakes with "real ice cream," so I went to Jack and ordered some vanilla ice cream. They said that they didn't have ice cream. ?? How the hell can you make milkshakes out of real ice cream if you don't have any ice cream??
Guest starvenger Report post Posted August 14, 2002 I've never had a BK shake. McDonald's are made from ice milk, which means that I get sick from them almost immediately. If you're in Toronto, go to Pickle Barrel and order a milkshake there. I've heard good things about the Lick's shake as well...
Guest MrBiznatch Report post Posted August 17, 2002 cause they use all the ice cream in the shakes I guess, but Jack in the Box shakes are good.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted August 17, 2002 I have to go with Reid's.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted August 17, 2002 Reid's has the best milkshakes around, plus, they're only $1, so you can't beat that.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted August 17, 2002 How the hell can you make milkshakes out of real ice cream if you don't have any ice cream?? Well i'm assuming that they don't sell the ice cream itself so they probably say that meaning "hey dumbass do you see ice cream on the menu for sale". By the way i wasn't personally directing the dumbass comment at you. Back to the topic at hand. Steak and Shake has great shakes.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted August 19, 2002 Steak and Shake's goodness totally destroys the opposition. Fast Food shakes are pretty sick, IMO, as non of them contain dairy, just dairy-like substances.
Guest imajackoff? Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Im a fan of the jamocha flavored shake from Arby's.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted August 22, 2002 I like Malts better than straight milkshakes, but it is hard to find real authentic malts, because now-a-days most places just make a regular milkshake with a scoop of malt mix and charge a dollar more for it.......Fudruckers has good Malts....and this Burger Stand by my girlfriend's house called, "Lou's Burgers" has a good Malt
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Im a fan of the jamocha flavored shake from Arby's. That's one of the few things from Arby's I would ingest while working there. Shakes, Fries, Chicken fingers, and Chicken sandwiches are all edible when requested FRESH. Other than that, and you're gettin' a piece of bird that's been sitting in a hot metal drawer for MOONS. BUT, say it with me... DON'T EAT THE ROAST BEEF~!
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted August 23, 2002 I haven't had a shake in about 5 years. Last time I did it was from McDonald's. It was way to syrupy and tasted like shit, I haven't had one since.
Guest cpac Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Johny Rockets makes the best shakes. There is one in atlanta and one in ny that I know of. You have to try the oreo shake and the banana strawberry shake. They go for like 3-4 dollars, but very much worth it.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted August 30, 2002 Steak and Shake have THE best shakes. I like the Freezes (citrus varieties)
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Report post Posted August 30, 2002 Dairy Queen Blizzards with their fries... Mmm~! That is entirely too good... Anyone else have the habit of dipping their fries into their shakes? I do that almost every time I go out for fast food... Thankfully, it's not that often. Guest Renegade Report post Posted September 1, 2002 Aren't McDonalds and BK's shakes supposed to be added with pig fat or something along that line?
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Report post Posted September 1, 2002 Is that why they taste so good with fries? Oh! Maybe that's the reason the One & Only Bacon McFlurry caused great illness... Excess of pig's fat.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted September 8, 2002 In the UK McDonald's chocolate are myfave, but when i had one in the US it tasted like shit, wasn't half as thick or anything. Ah well double quarter pounders and readily available pepper more than make up for it.
