I have no clue what's really gonna happen in the match, so I can't write a lengthy diatribe on the situation. I feel that Test works better with big men. He had good matches in his series with Kane last year, plus he's had good matches of late with the 10-man on Raw, and his match with Edge. I think Angle & Rey won't be great, because Rey is nothing but flip-flop to me, and I don't think Angle will work well with that considering he's not great with transitions. I also think the match won't get much time. Lengthy diatrabe? BACK UP YOUR POINTS, that's all I asked for, and it appears you knew what I meant, too. His matches with Kane were not good. Neither were his matches with Taker. Neither were his matches with Albert. In fact, they were all bad. Shit, if you just want to use their previous encounters as a measure of their potential together, look no farther than the match they had from Raw last year, where Taker nearly killed the poor guy with his powerbomb and the match sucked regardless. Edge is a big man? Guess I didn't get the memo on that one. As for the ten man, that was extremely well-booked to make Test look strong, as he didn't have to carry the body of the match at all, but merely stand on the apron and look mean. Singles matches are different, as if it even needed to be said. Rey does some flipping, but he's a far smarter worker than anyone gives him credit for, as, when he wanted to, he could work some great, great matches in WCW and continued to impress the hell out of me even after his prime. He's got a helluva lot more experience in building a match than Test, and his ability to tell the "underdog" story while keeping things interesting (ie: he's a good Ricky Morton) is probably his best gift, and he's got a very good mat-game, too, if they chose to go that route. Angle's transitions are, on the contrary, probably one of his greatest attributes in the ring, as he seems to be the master of intricate, heart-wrenching closing sequences. The match could still be a dissapointment if they treat Rey like a joke, but if they wanted to, those two could work a very good match together. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Test/Taker will suck more than Tammy Sytch during a job inter....ah that's too easy. Seriously, Testkick, stop trolling. If anything, unlike wrestling, the IWC is a small man's world. Now if Test were six inches shorter, had a bad haircut, and was missing a tooth, well..y'know. IMO, he's an above average worker for a big man. He's not quite as good as Kane is, but he's light years ahead of Bull and Albert. However, the fact is..he'd have to be busting out ***** matches every night to get some sort of recognition around here. It also dosen't help that he's "friends with Shane", and this friendship gives him 'a push every month'. I haven't seen these pushes, but they're apparently out there. (Maybe in the same realm of the GameFAQ's forums 'press conferences' that nobody's ever heard of.) It's allright to be a mark for a wrestler, but don't do it so blatantly that's annoying. (*cough* Something that floats around here, already.) For starters, anything that's not Benoit or Angle is bad. *grin* If you're going to keep at this, I wish you luck converting people to the er..Test side. In the last six or so months pre-WWE, from what I gather and what little I've seen Rey's developed that so much into his pacing and his psychology. As for the whole Test thing, there is very little evidence that Test is more than a decent worker period. I mean, how many matches have you seen Test carry the blunt end of? He's a quick big man, I'll give him that, but there's nothing to give him any credit past that. I've actually seen Test, Blackman, and Shane all arrive in the arena together about to years ago at a Key Arena house show if that means anything. It's not rock charisma, it's more of the toned down Eddie, "I can kick your ass and blow snot on your corpse" type charisma. You know, the arrogant heel, the technician who can hit you from any angle, who can work over any bodypart he wants and beat you. The stiff, laying it in because he likes to feel your pain. He's a GREAT wrestler, one of the best in the WWE, but marks don't care how good of a wrestler he is. Back to Test: He has no charisma OR ring talent, so he's screwed both ways.
