Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Here is a very compressed history of it. Chono shows up on Nitro in an nWo T-shirt in late 1996-early 1997. WCW and NJ have a working relationship so nWo guys in WCW like Scott Norton are in NJ Chono recruits Tenzan and Hiro Saito in mid 1997. Muta joins in 1997 on Nitro. nWo Sting leaves WCW for NJ In 1998 AKIRA joins nWo, Chono gets hurt and Mutoh takes over as leader. Mutoh recruits Kojima, nWo Sting becomes Super J Chono gets booted out of nWo. In early 1999 Chono announces he's forming his own group Team 2000 Muoth recruits Goto and Ohara into nWo. in mid-late 1999 Goto, Ohara, Super J, Norton, AKIRA, and Hiro join Chono in Team 2000, nWo is left with Tenkoji and Mutoh Chono beats Mutoh on 1/4/00 and Kojima and Tenzan join Team 2000.
