You forgot Dave Henderson's HR, without which they wouldn't have even GOT to the World Series.

And Fisk's HR.

And the '67 pennant race.

Who can forget

'19 When the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth

'46 When the Red Sox lost, and Ted Williams hit .190

'67 When the Red Sox lost

'75 When the Red Sox lost

'86 When the Red Sox lost (they really blew that series)

It looks like the final outcome for over 80 years for the Red Sox is negative.

Selling Ruth was stupid, no argument here.

Williams had a brokem elbow in the WS in 46, that might explain his poor numbers. He was hit by a pitch in the last game before the WS started.

'67 yeha going from a horrible team in '66 to the 7th game of the WS a year later and then losing is really choking.

'75 there's shame in losing to the best team of the 70's? And taking them the distance?

Buckner shouldn't have been on the field but Dick Williams wanted him to be out there because he was amongst the best hitters on the team that year. The guy could barely walk. Losing game 7 is another story though. No one seems to realize that the big error was game 6 and then Buckner came back and had a few hits in 7, but the Sox still lost.

I find it interesting that every time the Sox went to the Series, they faced great teams. The 46 and 67 Cardinals, 75 Reds and 86 Mets are all considered among the best in history.

As for '86, Buckner didn't blow that game, Bob Stanley did. The game was tied when Buckner committed the error. Stanley's wild pitch, however, let the tying run score and the winning run advance to second. Buckner was just icing on the cake.

And if you're going to label the Sox, you really should include the 1978 pennant race.

It wasn't that the Sox sold Ruth, they pretty much sold off their entire team. Picture the '98 Marlins and you have the Red Sox of the era. Except without free agency, it took them 20 years to recover.

Harry Frazie, who's grave I'd like to piss on sold Carl Mays to the Yankees first, Mays went on to be the only player to kill a man on the field. Yet another reason to hate the Yankees, they're killers. That incident is basically what has kept him out of the Hall. Frazie sold off a bunch of players culminating with the greatest player who ever lived to finance a Broadway show called "No No Nanette." Frazie was a New Yorker BTW. And people wonder why we hate NY so much here.

I'm not gonna apologize for Carl Mays, but some accounts say Chapman was leaning over the plate. Mays didn't intend to hit Chapman.

Oceanside Little League got robbed last year.

Glad that Japanese team beat that Florida team last year. I did not like that coach at all.

I must say Little League baseball is pretty exciting to watch even more than MLB. Probably cause you never know what is gonna happen.

Plus it's fun making fun of the kids that cry. ;)
