Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted August 14, 2002 If Kane gets a huge monster babyface reaction that I think he may get when he finally shows, do you think WWE will pull the trigger on a Brock/Kane program? I'm not saying they will or should, but with the Hogan push off of his monster pop from WMX8, is the same thing in store for Kane? I use the pop meter knowing full well that RVD gets huge pops, but he isn't Kane (hoss).

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2002 Kane v. Brock is a thing that takes time, if they blow their load on it and have a match, they will blow it
Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 14, 2002 If Brock loses @ Slam, yes. If he wins, no. I agree with that exact same logic.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 14, 2002 huh? I'd hate to see Brock vs. Kane on anything but free TV. Then again...there really isn't anyone who can face Brock and make me think...ooh...I have to order that show. Gee...it's so good that he's going to be champion. Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 14, 2002 I hope Brock feuds with Angle after SummerSlam... and I would order a PPV just for that match.

That would promise to be nothing short of outstanding! However, if they decided to just have Brock be the big bad hungry power guy, then I could do without. I can't wait untill they allow more of Brock to come out in his matches, it's only a matter of time, isn't it!?

Guest SlowChemical6 Report post Posted August 15, 2002 They shouldn't blow their load all at once. They are giving us Rock vs. Brock, Brock vs. Kane could be a big-money monster vs. monster feud down the line. Save it for a rainy day.

Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Kane disserves the title. LoL. He's gone through a lot in the WWF 2 terrible gimmicks feuding with "his brother" paul bearer as his "father" non-stop feuds with Xpunk won Intercontinental, Tag Team & Hardcore Championships along with the world title for 24 hrs. (thanx ALOT. I actually wanted Kane to win at KOTR) Its just a matter of time (if he's over enough) that he gets the 1 month run. lol
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Riiiiiiiight. Maybe in the "Terrible Ideas" universe. He's only had a one-night reign before. You think there might be a REASON? If Brock/Kane overwrites Brock/Angle where Angle gets the belt, hell hath no fury like Anglesault.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted August 15, 2002 I wouldn't mind seeing a Lesnar vs. Kane fued. The WWE could make it as if Lesnar is this unstoppable monster, and nobody can defeat him for the WWE Undisputed Title. Then, have Kane start fueding with Lesnar, and say that he can beat the unstoppable force being Lesnar. Then, at the following PPV, have Kane beat Lesnar and win the WWE Undisputed Title. Okay, that won't happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing that. Plus, Kane would finally get a decent reign as champion.
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Kane as a prolonged champion would not be good. Today, your top star has to be able to talk well. Brock doesn't... but you get my point.

Wait a minute, a Kane/Brock feud, leading to a god awful Kane/Brock match, FOR the title, leading to World Champion Kane? Is this the seventh ring of hell? Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Since Kane was the #2 babyface on the original RAW roster, (post-Austin) I think a Kane run with the title isn't out of the question. Especially if the WWE's plan to have Taker lose a retirement match to Kane at WM 19.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted August 15, 2002 I hope Kane's title reign lasts another day, and Angle obliterates him the next night on Raw (God awful roster split over) to reclaim the title.
Guest the incomparable Report post Posted August 15, 2002 There would have to be a kick ass undercard for anyone to buy a pay per view headlined by Kane & Brock. "Especially if the WWE's plan to have Taker lose a retirement match to Kane at WM 19." Where did you hear this?
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Anglesault.. don't worry man.. I do admit, Brock's pic in your sig has him looking a bit like Clark Kent. still.. Brock has to be one of the worst booked challengers in recent memory. The writers and bookers are not helping Brock play the part of destroying people before the PPV. As I have said 300 times, the WWE does not know how to book monster heels. honestly.. Brock Lesnar might just be a wet dream for Vince. Brock looks like Bob Backlund with alot of muscles. Although, we can hope that for his own good, he can find a good personality. Bleh. Brock v. Kane is no-win. They wouldn't put Brock over Kane too strongly, which makes fans sense Kane will win, which ruins ratings for the feud.

Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Brock HAS a personality! The boring guy who gets winded walking to the ring! Come on now there is no need to exaggerate. It takes Brock a good 30 seconds to get winded. As for Kane/Brock i can say that without the greatest undercard ever I am never going to buy a Kane headlined ppv (Not that he is offensively bad I just could not care less about him) and at this point I would say the same about Brock maybe he can get turned around at some point. Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Haha.. that doesn't count. Hell, I'd bet if Angle or any of the other guys were coming up now, they wouldn't get so over because the writers now suck. Brock has to find a niche. Maybe he can grow his hair out a bit more also. Brock can't be helped by the fact that the writers are idiots. Could anybody?
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 15, 2002 Hell, Brock just need to do SOMETHING to get the fans to care about him! There's no reason to cheer, no reason to boo... he's just there. I can understand the Brock bashing now, but I don't think anyone can say that Brock doesn't have the potential to be good someday. I just hope that in the next 11 days... WWE begins to show us this. Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted August 15, 2002 I would hold off on a Kane vs Brock program till December and have it lead into a Brock vs Undertaker program which culminates at Wrestlemania where Undertaker returns to his old 'gravedigger' persona with Paul Bearer coming out to nuetralize Heyman. Picture this: Brock is in the ring awaiting the Undertaker, his heavy metal music plays, no Undertaker, it plays again still no Undertaker, suddenly the lights go out and after 5-10 seconds on darkness.... *BONG* A prelude theme begins to play as a lone purple light shines on the entrance and out comes.... Paul Bearer Bearer holds up the urn for all to see, the music builds until one final *BONG* BOOM goes the pyro And out steps the Undertaker, hat, long coat, looking undead as ever and at the edge of the the entrance ramp kneels before Paul Bearer and raises his hand towards the urn. If you say this wouldn't make you mark out you are a big fat liar.

Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted August 15, 2002 First off, they aren't going to hotshot the title to HHH right after SS. Brock is going to win at SS and hold it for a while. Case closed. A Brock/Kane feud in a non title situation would be pretty good, but Kane is a guy that just doesn't reek of main event. I think it's mostly due to being over due to UT, he's not all that over on his own.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted August 15, 2002 I just want to know why everyone hates a man they've never met, who has no control over how he's booked, and who could legitimately kick all our asses combined because of his amature credentials?
