Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted August 15, 2002 So, since November I've had a rut on relationships, breaking up with my gf of two years, and then having a breakup due to long-distance issues with another...been very whack, and left my game severely lacking due to a confidence issues. So, last night, I'm out swing dancing like I normally am, and I grab a really cute girl *think ballet dancer type* and have quite a dance. I think we danced once more to try some lindy hop which she followed well. Now it gets good. There's a pool table and I was set to play up the organizer of the dance for a game as we do every week. My friend Craig is hesitant because he just lost his contact lens to take her out to the dance floor, but I respond with a "Dood, she's cute, and she wants to dance...You know I'd be out there in a second...go dance you fool." They dance and me and the fellow start playing pool...the dance ends...and about 4 seconds later...she walks up to the table, gives me a puppy dog come hither look, and of course, pulls me straight to the dance floor, thus leaving my game on hiatus for a few minutes. Great dance...go back to pool...I wind up winning and clean the balls off as she comes back up and admires my skill. Nothing works like telling me what a great shot I just made "Cough, and I am good" Another dance, and I'm picking something up...I grab a friend of hers, we take a dance, then theres a whole exchange dance, then the last dance...and guess who I'm with. Yup...the dancer... So afterwarsd we sit there and talk about the next dance we're going to be at, and shes coming back for my birthday dance next week. Sadly, I followed to old adage of not asking for a number the first time i dance with one "its a rule" But...damn, she's cute...so basically next wedneday can't get here quick enough...And with any sort of luck, Ill be taking her out that friday for a start of a great new relationship No worries, ill tell you all what happens to not keep you in suspense, like you care I just wanted to gloat Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I mean that's really classy, isn't it? You meet a girl and then you boast about it on a message board. And how about giving us a blow by blow encounter if you actually do it. Say you need to use the bathroom, but then go to your computer and describe what happened, and give it a rating out of five. How about this: "Well, it was entertaining, but the workrate dropped off towards the end. If my girlfriend adds a couple of moves to her playbook we could have the new Ric Flair here!" You know, I just felt like sharing something that was positive for once, rather than all the negative crap we normally read about. For those of you who didn't quite get that and wanted to just act like an asshole...whatever. TJH, your comments had utterly no place in this thread...it was one of those announcement that soon dies after 1 or 2 "allrite man!" things and some people can get a smile knowing somethings going right somewhere in this crazy world of ours.
