Guest alfdogg Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 I've got two other reasons Sanders isn't with the company any longer. 1) He's small. As in not a muscle freak. 2) He's not tall. If Sanders was even 6'2 or 6'3 and weighed in around 220-230, he'd still at least be in OVW, or better. Since Mike Sanders has "below average" height and weight, he isn't considered "above average" to the WWE higher ups. If he was bigger, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. It would just be Heyman or Nash having to deal with him. I think the short version of this would be "he's not a hoss."
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 *eyes Ross, not Heyman..*
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Everyone is ignoring the positive of this: Heyman has more political clout than Nash. Even with that scary Clique-ness things seemed to be heading to, things are still in the right place.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 That's also a BAD thing. Justin Credible was a ECW champion, y'know. Who did that? Heyman. ..evil is coming..
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Yeah, except Justin Credible is still doing Heat. Inmates running the asylum is even worse, because you have no idea who's in control and who's booking what and ruining this or that.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 I remember reading a while ago that the WWE was gonna bring Sander's up and give him a "Gay Gimmick." Then, Rico debuted about 2-3 weeks later.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Sanders on commentary would have been very, very annoying, if you ask me. I mean, seriously, being "Above Average" for what little experience you have, and being fit to keep people interested for two hours are two very different things. Sanders, at this stage, would be most well-suited to a manager role, because he could bump around in the ring if needed, and he could talk in bearable doses. As a comentator, he wouldn't be anywhere near Paul, though possibly better than the usual gang of mis-fits we hear currently have to listen to every night. And what exactly does Heyman's bias against him have to do with Nash? If anything, the only reason it became a "struggle" at all is because Sanders made friends with Nash. Had he not had that connection, it probably wouldn't have even been an issue. If Sanders doesn't like politics, what the fuck is he doing making friends with Kevin mutherfucking Nash?
