New Tom Green Movie-Stealing Harvard

When I went to see XXX the other day they had a preview for "Stealing Harvard" starring Tom Green and The Man Jason Lee. I think it's going to be kind of tough for people to accept Tom Green as an actor who is in normal movies after Freddy Got Fingered and his TV show. What do you guys think? Is he still going to take a shot at making his own movies too?

 

On a side note, how likely is it that there is some skateboarding in this movie? Tom Green and Jason Lee are both former pro skateboarders, so there has to have been some going on whether it was in the movie or not.

Tom Green is not a good actor...he's just comfortable in front of a camera, that's it...he was good enough in Road Trip for the small part he had. He cannot carry a movie to save his life

If Tom Green has a role like he did in Road Trip he can be really funny. I own Freddy Got Fingered on DVD, I think it is hilarious, but I don't think I want him to do another movie like that with him as the big star.

I seem to recall that when Tom Green signed to do Freddy that it was a contract for him to write and direct three movies. After the negativity of Freddy that might not come to be though.

 

I bought it on DVD too. I love that movie. Anybody that doesn't find a bloody baby swinging around in the air funny is dead.

Tom Green is a one time gag thing, like if you see it for a second time it isnt funny anymore...

 

except for one episode of his MTV show, when he dressed up as a soccer player and ran-in on all the little kids' games

People don't like Tom Green because his humor is very high concept, post-modernist stuff where there are no jokes and it isn't funny. I saw Freddy Got Fingered the other day, actually, and I have a lot of respect for Tom Green after that. It takes some big balls to make a movie that bad.

No people get the so called humor. They just prefer something that's more cleavor and intelligent than what Tom Green does.

Tom Green sucks

 

His movies aren't funny, he sucks at skating (unlike Mark Appleyard) and he is dumb as a brick.

 

 

Although his "Boy in a Bubble want to play Baseball" thing on his show cracks me up everytime. But his movies suck.

I found Freddy Got Fingered quite funny as well, but it wasn't a great movie. I don't think it sucked, but it wasn't great either.

 

In that preview Tom Green got top billing, but the story seemed to focus more on Jason Lee in the clips shown. What is PG-13 Tom Green going to be like?
