Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Check this out, from Nash's official site... Rehabbing With Kevin Nash Part One of Five August 15, 2002 The Official Website of Kevin Nash presents the first in a five part series which includes exclusive photos and an interview with Mr. Nash. The Road to Recovery following his 21st surgery starts and stops in Birmingham, Ala., or so it seems. Kevin Nash suffered a torn left quad muscle on the July 8th Raw. His surgery was performed the following day by Dr. James Andrews and Nash’s rehab is done under the watchful eye of doctors and physical trainers at the nearby Health South Rehabilitation Center. And he stays at a hotel about five minutes away. In his first sit-down interview following the injury, Nash spoke with former WCW Magazine editor Ross Forman. Nash talked about his rehab, his return and Eric Bischoff, among other things. Ross: You’ve had 21 surgeries, including 14 on your knees, but have said this was most painful. Rehab is nothing new to Kevin Nash. Kevin: "My job now is to come back as soon as possible, but at 100 percent. They’re counting on me coming back and it’s my job to come back. There’s no way I’d let an injury stop my career. When Kevin Nash stops, it’s not going to because of an injury; I’ve come back from every injury in the past. Injuries are nothing but an inconvenience and time-consuming. Rehab is just a state of mind. You have to know in your heart and mind that you’re going to come back, and, stay positive. "This is a real slow progress rehab because of the nature of the surgery; I know that." Ross: It’s been rumored that you will retire and never wrestle again. Is that true? Kevin: "Absolutely not. For all those people who believe I’m lazy, it’s just that, when you’ve had surgically-repaired limbs to the point where I have you’re not as mobile as you once were. How lazy am I? Just ask the guys at the Health South Rehab Center. Or ask the guys who train with me in the gym. I always wonder what kind of pro wrestler I would have been if I hadn’t had 13 knee operations before my first match." Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I really hope that the WWE depending on Nash to come back doesn't mean what I think it means..
Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I really hope they give him a Desire video, just to spite everybody. Heh, heh, heh. Seriously..being injured sucks. While I may not want to see him wrestle, it sucks. I wish him luck.

Guest SlowChemical6 Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Good luck to Big Kev. Both he and Hulk Hogan seem to really be trying in their second run with WWE. I never thought that I would give Hogan any credit, but let's face it: he knows his role, he isn't playing his old political games, and he's doing the best that he can at age 49 in the ring. Can anyone really blame Nash for being unmotivated in the old WCW? He was plenty motivated when he first went down south and the nWo was born, it was only when the product went to complete shit that "Big Lazy" was born. Hell, if I was working for the old WCW and the product blew, I was 6'11", I had had 13 knee surgeries, and I knew that I could get over on charisma alone...I would probably phone it in too. Guest NazMistry Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I can't wait to read Bob Barron's lyrics for Nash's version of 'Beautiful Day'.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I never knew he had 13 knee surgeries (prior to the most recent #14). I heard he had a couple of surgeries, but 13 is a lot.

Nash is certainly showing dedication and determination in his comments and actions concerning his recovery, you cannot take that away from him. In fact, he may really SCARE us all and return to have a ***** match with Rikishi.... Okay, so i have a drug problem... This has been the Taker Mark
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted August 16, 2002 This reminds me of the HHH video, and how the doctor said he can't remember anyone before coming back from a quad tear. Consider me suprised if Nash actually has the determination to actually do another match after this, especially if he does something more than a "I'm a crippled guy and want someone to carry me and make me look good to send me out" match like HHH/HBK. Guest Down Below Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Does anyone remember that episode of Thunder where Nash was a colour commentator. October 1999, I think. He was just merciless, shooting on practically everyone and it was really damn funny. Ever since that show, I've liked him no matter how annoying he can be at times. Guest Haku Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I have always liked Nash only because of 2 things. His mic work and the nWo only in 96 and some of 97. And I liekd the on screen nWo not the different offscreen one backstage.
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Fuck Nash. It's pretty sad that people are making excuses for him being a lazy sloth. While Nash may have had a use in 96-97, he's completely worthless today. Most fans today, don't remember Nash... and most of the ones that do, don't care either way. I'm tired of these "Oh, well he's showing great heart and determination in trying to come back as soon as possible!" That doesn't mean a damn thing. What matters is the work he puts on in the ring, and what makes best business for the company. Nash has failed on both accounts for a few years now. Fuck Nash. Guest Bricks Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Not really much to say, but Respect The 'Taker, I think that's your funniest sig to date.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted August 16, 2002 this has to make you wonder. if the guy just had his 14th knee surgery & admits that he's only in it for the money, why would he want to keep wrestling? isn't his downside guarantee close to a million dollars? i feel sorry for the guy, but unless he wants to be in rehab again, he needs to RETIRE! Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted August 16, 2002 An other reason why Nash is a great Politician. He just made all you clowns believe in him.
Guest notJames Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Ouch! That made me tear my quad. Any of you guys wanna sing some love songs for me too? (just kidding)
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted August 16, 2002 It sucks to get injured, no matter who the wrestler is, but Kevin Nash needs to realize that his mobility is that of an 80 year old, and he should hang up the leather tights. To be honest, I actually wouldn't mind him as a heel color analyst. I think he'd be better than Lawler is right now.
Guest notJames Report post Posted August 16, 2002 ...I actually wouldn't mind him as a heel color analyst. I think he'd be better than Lawler is right now... Hmm... Lawler yelling about puppies left and right, while occasionally passing a relevant comment or two, or Nash spending two hours putting himself and the Kliq over, completely ignoring everyone in the ring? I say shoot them both. Neither of them has a leg to stand on. (yes, pun intended)
Guest Quik Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Wha...? He didn't say anything about the black demons coming up and tripping him so he tears his quad?
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I feel for him with all of his injuries but I consider him a fool to try and come back. The more motivated and mobile he tries to be , the more injury prone he is. I'll gve it to him, he's dedicated and I really beleive he would try his hardest, but it wouldn't produce anything. The guy just wants to be in a few more big main event programs with the best in the business today just like his buddy Hulk and then walk out. I know his contract isn't that much longer and I think he should take the smart way out like his fellow Insider, DDP. Nash is going to get back in the ring and bust his ass , literally. I'm scared to see what kind of damage he's going to do to himslef next.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I second the 'fuck nash', and probably should feel for him being injured but it goes with the job. He's been through it 13 times already. And he's getting paid to do nothing. I love his mic work and he was one of my favourites as a 10 year old, but the kliq can go fuck themselves as far as wrestling's concerned. Guest buffybeast Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I agree with everyone else. If his kness and body are as bad as he says they are, then he needs to just sit down and retire.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Not really much to say, but Respect The 'Taker, I think that's your funniest sig to date. Thanks dude, feedback is always appreciated! TestKick - Im sensing some REAL negative vibes here...I say give the guy a break, he ripped his quad clean off...i mean im sure you saw it on Raw, it looked fucking brutal... Honestly, if Nash says he is going to be back, then Nash is going to be back..one way or another. This has been the Taker Mark
Guest razazteca Report post Posted August 16, 2002 maybe Nash can replace Mark Lloyd as the Velocity/Smackdown announcer
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Yes, I do hate Nash... Injuries are part of the game. These athletes get paid tons of money because of this, so I don't feel sorry for them. Besides, nobody forced Nash to go out there... Mr. Big Shot can get himself out of matches, with fake heart attack claims... Why didn't he admit he was still injured now?? Oh, silly me, because he was basically going to squash Booker in the 10-man tag. Before the injury, Nash was completely worthless anyway. I don't think anyone can dispute that. Nash as an announcer, or a road agent, or whatever is a bad move. Nash is only funny on the mic (occasionally) when he does his shoot comments and rips other wrestlers apart. The last thing WWE needs now is more non-wrestlers putting themselves over the actual talent who can wrestle.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted August 16, 2002 maybe Nash can replace Mark Lloyd as the Velocity/Smackdown announcer He could debut by Jack Knifing him off the Smackdown stage... Wouldn't it be funny if he tore his quad while doing that? In a really sick, sadistic kinda way? C'mon...admit it...you'd laugh for at least a second.. This has been the EVIL Taker Mark
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted August 16, 2002 hopefully by the time Nash comes back, RVD and Booker are in a feud for the title, and Nash will be looked upon with boos and the such

The last thing WWE needs now is more non-wrestlers putting themselves over the actual talent who can wrestle. I agree with you there. However, you must remember that what your doing now is comparing Nash NOW with WCW Nash THEN...Nash has yet to truly have a proper match, outside The Rock on Smackdown of course, by which shows he is serious about his apparent motivation. Take a look at the Undertaker, at 40 years old he is just as motivated as he was years ago...proving that with the hard work put in, SOMETHING good can come of it, im not saying Taker is your next Kurt Angle, im just stating that its far more interesting to watch someone who is into their job then say, someone like Jeff Hardy who'd rather be out back shooting up. The environment by which Nash was in with WCW was terrible, thats a widely-known fact...and i don't blame the guy for not giving a fucking damn about that business and what happend. Wait until the big guy comes back, if he stays the same, which many believe he will, then i'll gladly agree with the fact that Nash is useless and only there to cost Vince McMahon money. However, things are not as always as they seem...time will tell. This has been the Taker Mark
