Ugh, I had to go to a mall yesterday, because I needed to patronize a Ticketmaster (ugh, again) so I could get a ticket to see ELVIS COSTELLO~! in November. I would've purchased it at the venue in question and avoid the five dollar service charge, but said venue is a 2.5 hour drive. Oh well, it is worth it.

There is this place in my mall, Northwoods Mall in scenic Charleston, South Carolina, that has the GREATEST~! bourbon chicken of all-time.

 

I cannot explain the magnetic lure of the mall, I only know that I am attracted to it as a mouse to cheese. And it isn't because of the people - I hate people. And it isn't because of the merchandise - I hate merchandise. I think it's because the mall is a great place for friends to meet and get into various forms of mischief. I know it sounds stupid, and it is kinda stupid, but I cannot count how many times I've been kicked out of the mall for various offenses. There are simply no bones about it, practicing hooliganism is great fun. Not only that, but I do quite enjoy going there simply to mock humanity. Add to that the kick-ass bookstore, and I'm set; I guess I just love the mall in general.
