Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Are they really going to go with APA vs. Chuck a Billy? Why is that a match at WrestleMania... Haven't I watched them wrestle on Raw and Smackdown lately? Why aren't Storm and Christian getting a match of that caliber in Canada? Did they just decide to take the 2 worst teams and throw them together? This is Godwins vs. Headbangers bad...
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 No point in bitching though. The WWF seems stuck on pushing Billy & Chuck to the top. I'd much rather see either Tazz/Spike still as the champs, taking on either Credible/Storm or Dreamer/Richards (I hear they are getting good reviews at house shows)
Guest BonerTaco Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Billy and Chuck and the APA are the only two real tag teams the WWF has right now. Taz and Spike is a sucky tag team, they should be doing jobs on Sunday Night Heat. Dreamer and Richards, LOL!!!!!!!!
Guest midnight_burn Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Billy/Chuck v APA isn't that tempting to me. It should be decent, but nothing special.
Guest EQ Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Billy and Chuck make me laugh... I don't mind their ring work, either
Guest Tony149 Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 If the WWF wanted to do the "gay tag team", they should of gotten Lenny & Lodi. I don't care about the tag titles since the tag division sucks right now. The belts are being kept warm for Hall (Or X-Pac, if Hall isn't around) & Nash.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 what is with the music chuck and billy were using on smackdown how obvious are they trying to make it that they're supposed to be gay

Hall & Nash would present the same booking problems Kane & Undertaker did---who in the heck can get the belts off of them? Without much credible competition, fans stop caring (note the almost death of the WCW Tag Titles when Hall & Nash held them ). -=Mike ...Then they find a credible team and run that feud into the ground.
Guest JHawk Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 And here I thought winning a title was supposed to be a reward for getting a reaction. Haven't heard that for Billy and Chuck yet. But realistically, the APA was pretty much the only way they could go for challengers. They are over (at least Bradshaw is), even though it's for drinking beer and a Stan Hansen-like lariat and not overall ring work. Your only other option would be a four way and throwing in the Dudleys and Hardys, and I don't think most fans can tolerate the Dudleys and Hardys on opposite sides of a tag title match anytime soon.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Bradshaw is a good match for Billy and Chuck.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 APA v. The Ambiguosly Gay Duo, in a Baby Oil on a Pole Match.
Guest J*ingus Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 The tag scene is pretty bad right now. All of the teams are either: 1. Teams that used to be good, but really aren't anymore. Hardyz, Dudleys, APA. 2. Thrown-together teams that don't gel. Tazz & Spike, Storm & Christian. 3. Bad ideas from the beginning. Billy & Chuck, Scotty 2 Hotty & Hip Hop Hippo. Now, how do we solve this problem? 1. Shake up the old teams to make them less stale. How 'bout a double-turn with the Hardyz and Dudleyz? 2. Let new teams actually, y'know, TEAM together for a little while before giving them title shots. 3. Kill those two teams or job them out. 4. Keep Hall & Nash the HELL away from the titles.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 everything you've said makes perfect sense Jingus so I know you don't work for the WWF. I think the only reason the WWF is booking all of these shitty matches is because they want expectations to be low for quality since they realize the dinosaurs will probably stink the joint up. They have a bunch of wrestlers doing NOTHING. Why don't they start developing some solid tag teams to generate interest. The WWF is stuck on cruise control and needs to hit the brakes on their current way of thinking.
Guest Rose of Pain Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Oh come on people stop your Bitching... I for one can find at least ONE good thing to come out of this match. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . At least we have our bathroom break match.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 Nash & X-Pac, maybe that's not a bad idea...
Guest THE SHOCKMASTER Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 How about the New Fabulous Freebirds?
Guest Big Poppa Smurf Posted February 23, 2002 Report Posted February 23, 2002 I automatically root for any team thats wrestling against the APA because Bradshaw annoys me.
Guest HellSpawn Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 I agree with you BPS. I hope they blow this feud before WM. Of course, maybe they will do blow the feud and the turn it in to.... TLC #2358 !!! Amazing, in 2000 the tag team scene was Hotter then F'n Hell and now the scene sucks. They could throw some teams and make it interesting, like: Booker T / Test (as powerful big men) Edge / RVD Storm / Christian Hurricane / Kidman Break Midget Madness Millenium (Tazz/Spike) and join Crash / Spike as funny little guys. maybe bring back Esse Rios, broke the Hardys and team him with one of them.
Guest Choken One Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 I would like a 4 way #1 contender match with Spike/Tazz, Hardyz, Dudz and Storm/Christain...No TLC, just a match. Should be good right?
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Unless it's a clusterfuck spotfest, tag team matches with more than two teams tend to suck.
Guest nikjohns Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 It doesn't matter who the APA fight, I'll call the ending: Faarooq (that looks like its spelt wrong) and one opponent fight on the outside, and Bradshaw gets the Clothesline from Hell from nowhere to win.
Guest oldschoolhero Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 I tihnk they should have turned the Duds back face before No Way Out, and had THEM challenge Billy and Chuck at Mania. But that's just me.
Guest One Bad Apple Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 APA v. The Ambiguosly Gay Duo, in a Baby Oil on a Pole Match. That hackneyed line has to be the worst joke I've heard in months. And I read some of the other posts here. I'm ashamed for the both of us.
Guest One Bad Apple Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 And here I thought winning a title was supposed to be a reward for getting a reaction. Haven't heard that for Billy and Chuck yet. I have.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 where are you hearing this heat? Is it prior to the matches, after or what? I know it's not during their matches cos the crowd is usually dead silent during the BillyChuck segments. Maybe it was during the posedown with the chicks but they are not over in the ring.
