Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted August 16, 2002 I think someone has brought this up before, but... Star Trek movies are cursed for having good even numbered movies, but terrible odd numbered ones. Meanwhile, check out TNA... Good weeks: 2,4,6,8 Crappy weeks: 1,3,5,7,9 Cosmic. Guest BigTim2002 Report post Posted August 16, 2002 Never before would I have thought that such a time would come were Star Trek and Wrestling would have a similarity. I'm shocked and appalled...but somehow, I feel strangely moved... Hmmmmmmmm...
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted August 16, 2002 so that means next weeks NWA show will be good? yay
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 17, 2002 yeah...I figure that means this week is a lock to be good. Styles and Lynn 2/3 falls will likely take up one fourth of the show...and that can't be a bad thing. Siaki vs. Yang and the X title match should kill another 20 minutes... So Russo basically has an hour that he just can't mess up to badly this week.

IMO the crew was far too old, and the plot was a bit too 'Conspiracy Theory'. It didn't feel like Star Trek for me.

I'll admit that the crew were probably too damn old but I still really enjoyed the film and anything had to be better than Star Trek V. Boy, does that film stink.
