Starting Lineup

PG- Jason Kidd

SG- Kerry Kittles

SF- Richard Jefferson

PF- Kenyon Martin

C- Dikimbe Mutumbo

bench

PG- Chris Childs

SG- Lucious Harris

SF- Rodney Rogers

PF- Aaron Williams

C- Jason Collins.

With them signing Rodney Rogers, I think that the only thing that can make them lose the East next year will be themselves. They are quite possibly the deepest team in the league now.

What about the Philly 76er's?

Todd MacCulloch

Allen Iverson

Keith Van Horn

Aaron McKie

Eric Snow

Lakers and Kings are still the teams to beat and with the kings adding keon clark and re-signing bibby you can't over look them

What about The Bulls!

Making a run at The Playoffs this year!

PG: Jay Williams

SG: Jalen Rose

SF:Donyell Marshall

PF:Tyson Chandler(New And Improved)

C:Eddy Curry(Eh.....)

Adding Marshall was key but can they out do the

magic

pacers

celtics

76ers

nets

pistons

hawks (dikau will improve that team)

hornets?

bulls are young and with marshall and rose you have a nice set up but they're lacking true veteran leadership

Yeah... make a good run while you have Kidd still............

The Hawks have a Bomb Squad!

They've already got Jason Terry, now adding

Glenn Robinson and Dan Dickau.

Another Team making a run at The Playoffs.

I could care less bout new jersey don't confuse my knowledge with fan fare. I'm a lakers and hawks fan always have been. Atlanta is a deadly team that everyone is writing off. Growing up in spokane i went to many gonzaga games and Dan Dikau is a steal in my eyes. Atlanta is going to be the surprise team to many although if you look at them in full they shouldn't be a surprise team at all.

Don't expect The Bucks to make The Playoffs

but,Who knows.

Guest Bloodice

Bucks even without Robinson are an ok team. Just not as effective.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20

They Still have Ray Allen.Sam Cassell wants

to go but I doubt he will.

Tracy McGrady: 2003 NBA MVP

Guest Bloodice

Sam would be a great fit in dallas. Allen isn't going to be enouch to carry milwaukee who could end up being the 7th or 8th seed.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20

Who had the 7 and 8th Last Year?

The Carterless Toronto Raptors and Indiana

Right?

Guest Bloodice

I'm not saying that the seventh or eighth seed is bad. I'm just stating that the bucks w/o Glen won't have the same drive/spark. I don't see Toronto in the playoff hunt this year. THe loss of Keon Clark and neglect of free agents hurt them.

Guest LexLugerRules

Losing Keon Clark isnt THAT bad, as we still have Carter, Jerome Williams, Davis, Alvin Williams, and two vets like the legend Hakeem Objuwan, and Lidsey Hunter.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20

You don't even need Vince Carter

unless that 11 Game Winning Streak was

all luck.

I am a HUGE Toronto Raptors fan.

I went to all of their playoffs games.

Jerome Williams will be the player to watch, he's amazing.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20

Why would you wanna watch Jerome Williams?

That's one ugly man........

Guest LexLugerRules

Sorry, I am not homosexual, so I dont judge players but their looks.

On a serious note, I met Jerome Williams at WWF Wrestlemania Axxess.

Great guy.

Starting lineup

PG

Nets - Jason Kidd, Kings - Mike Bibby

Advantage: Nets

SG

Nets - Kerry Kittles, Kings - Doug Christie

Advantage: Push. Kittles is superior offensively, but eight times out of ten, Christie can contain any SG not named Kobe Bryant, and Kittles is far from Kobe-like.

SF

Nets - Richard Jefferson, Kings - Predrag Stojakovic

Advantage: Kings. For now, anyway. Jefferson impressed me as a rookie in the playoffs, but I didn't see any evidence that he's on Peja's level quite yet.

PF

Nets - Kenyon Martin, Kings - Chris Webber

Advantage: Kings

C

Nets - Dikembe Mutombo, Kings - Vlade Divac

Advantage: Push. I'm not convinced that Mutombo's defensive contribution would be able to offset his relative offensive inferiority to Divac. And, it's not as if Vlade is a poor defender in his own right. He's arguably the second-best pure center in the league; definitely in the top 5, flops and all.

Bench

PG

Nets - Chris Childs, Kings - Bobby Jackson

Advantage: Kings

SG

Nets - Lucious Harris, Kings - Gerald Wallace

Advantage: Nets. I think that Wallace is going to become a much better player than Harris, but for now, I give the edge to Lucious' experience.

SF

Nets - Rodney Rogers, Kings - Hidayet Turkoglu

Advantage: Kings. This isn't a slight against Rogers as much as it's a compliment to Turkoglu. I think that Hedo's a better player than Rogers right now, and I think he's going to get even better.

PF

Nets - Aaron Williams, Kings - Keon Clark

Advantage: Push. Williams is likely to see more PT than Clark, but that's most likely due to K-Mart being in foul trouble than any superiority Williams has over Clark.

C

Nets - Jason Collins, Kings - Scot Pollard

Advantage: Kings. His performance against the Lakers in the WCF notwithstanding, Scot Pollard is the best backup center in the NBA, period. He would probably start for at least 20 teams.

Verdict: Kings over Nets 5-2-3. They're defiinitely the deepest team in the East, and should repeat as Eastern Conference champs, but hardly the deepest team in the league. The Mavs and Blazers have pretty impressive depth charts, too.

Hakeen is up their in age and i don't see him doing much this year. I'm not saying Toronto sucks if that's what you're saying. And Keon Clark is a bust out waiting to happen. Sacramento didn't go through the trouble of signing him for nothing.

Guest LexLugerRules

Of course the Dream is getting old, but he still could help out the younger guys.

Lets not forget Raptors also have the legenary Lenny Wilkins as a coach.

Raptors will make it to the playoffs, and once again I'll be in the stands.

Guest Bloodice

They have a good team still not doubting that and wilkins is a great coach. I just think teams like Atlanta and Boston are being unthought of this year. Atlanta will sneak up on some teams

Guest LexLugerRules

Actually alot of experts and fans think Boston will make it to the finals this up coming season.

Ummm Kevin Sullivan isn't dead.

I think Boston took a step backwards this offseason

Fuck Boston.

Fuck Paul Pierce. Overrated Little Bastard.
