Someone give me a reason as to WHY IN THE HELL The Tiger Driver '91 has turned into a "normal" finisher as of late. Jay Briscoe gets to use it as his normal finisher, but Misawa has used very little. QUE?

Jay doesn't do the Tiger Driver '91.

He does the Money Maker (Kid Kash's Double underhook piledriver)

CZW, and now ROH just pimp it as a TD'91, and it's sold over the top.

A couple a people are also whipping out Kobashi's Burning Hammer like candy too. But you've got to figure that most of the people we're referring to are people in the indies, some of which are known to pull out the crazy moves on a regular basis.

Mosh didn't do a Burning Hammer, he did a torture-rack into a flapjack type thing. The guys head never hit the ground. Honestly, you think the WWE would ever let the actual Burning Hammer see the light of day. The last actual incident of head-dropping I can recall would be Hurricane doing the Vertebreaker to AJ Styles on Metal, but it's Metal and it's AJ Styles so WWE probably doesn't give two shits.

I've never seen an indy guy to a true Burning Hammer, with the Avalanche Tourure Rack set up and all, just versions on the Inverted DVB.

THE SPICY DROP~! is bomb, but it's super safe. Best of the best? The greatest Kobashi hammer I've ever seen. Him vs. Akiyama on Muta's Birthday, 2000, a Vertical Rope Assisted BH, and Akiyama got dropped ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD. I laughed, I cried, and I loved it.
