Songs:

1:The Medley of Behind the Wall of Sleep, Bassically, Wasp, and NIB from the Self-titled.

2:Black Sabbath

3:Planet Caravan

4:Children of the Grave

5:Symptom of the Universe

Albums:

1:Self Titled (This is also my all-time favorite album.)

2:Master of Reality

3:Paranoid

4:Vol 4

5:Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Be sure to pick up the first 5 Sabbath albums, as they're all great. If you like them, continue to get everything else with Ozzy, all the Sabbath stuff without Ozzy is completely different, especially the Dio albums, none of which I enjoy at all. their album Tyr, w/ Tony Martin is a Wizard on the Hill metal abortion. Don't just listen to their singles either, as most of the other stuff rules just as much.

Another Sabbath fun fact: Paranoid was written, recorded, EVERYTHING, within a 20 minute or so span of time, and they fucking hated it, I disagree with that initial opinion however.

Songs:

1. Under the Sun/Every Day Comes and Goes

A great composite song from their best album (more on that later).

2. Sleeping Village/A Bit of Finger/Warning

An awesome heavy-blues medley/jam.

3. Spiral Architect

Cool lyrics and a nice sound.

4. Iron Man

Classic old-school metal sound.

5. Wheels of Confusion

A great, heavy intro song.

Albums

1. Vol. 4 - Their best musical work, combining classic metal tunes with nice melodic pieces.

2. Masters of Reality - Great mix of tunes on here, minus the horrible Children of the Grave.

3. Black Sabbath - While unpolished, the early Sabbath sound is truly dark and original with hints of their blues roots.

4. Paranoid - Some good songs but not a real classic, IMO, everything is too basic.

5. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Same applies here, some good tunes with some ok ones, ultimately this album just isn't as memorable as the others.
