Pearl Jam did a cover of Keep On Rocking In the Free World by Neil Young

Metallica covered a medley of Mercyful Fate songs on their Garage Days album.

BTW: Garage Days ruled, even though mostly everyone I know hates it. Anything with a Misfits cover is cool, and one with two is even better.

Mercyful Fate is concidered to be one of the pioneers of what would later be known as black metal along with VENOM

Venom's song "Black Metal" was covered by another original black metal band, Mayhem

Mayhem at one point had everyone's favorite Neo Nazi Fascist Asshole Varg "Count Grishnack" Vikernes of the band BURZUM.

side note: Varg also killed Mayhem's former guitarist Euronymous. If everyone reads Lords of Chaos: The Bloody Rise of the Satanic Metal Underground then you too can pretend to know about the history of black metal like me.

BURZUM'S VARG VIKERNES has/is spent/spending time in prison, much like TOMMY LEE.

Tommy Lee was boning Pamela Anderson, much like Kid Rock is now (when he isn't churning out crappy music)

Run DMC, much like PUBLIC ENEMY, were early pioneers in the mixing of rap and rock.

PUBLIC ENEMY had a less-than-stellar wrestling tag team named after them, much like legendary punk rocker SID VICIOUS had a less-than-stellar wrestler named after him.

Sid Vicous's band The Sex Pistols did a cover of FRANK SINATRA's My Way.

FRANK SINATRA once said that he wanted to kick the ass of SINEAD O'CONNOR for tearing up a picture of The Pope on SNL.

Sinead O'Connor is a lesbian, much like the members of Team Dresch!

I'm guessing Team Dresch are those 2 Russian lesbians? If so, then...

TEAM DRESCH originate from Russian, much like OLOFF who sang "Berzerker" in the movie Clerks (it's an actual song, too).

Uh...nope.

Team Dresch are not the two Russian Lesbians.

So, disregard any post after mine.

The Russian Lesbians are TATU. Who suck. Team Dresch is a good punk band.
