Guest Nevermortal Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Dio once "appeared" on South Park, much like OZZY OSBOURNE
Guest mesepher Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Ozzy was on a cartoon show much like Phish who were on the Simpsons recently
Guest sk8420kid Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Phish has covered many bands, like THE BEASTIE BOYS.
Guest poopsaver4000 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 The Beastie Boys are both white and rappers, much like the great shave eyebrow, weird harcutted, big pants early 90s sensation: Vanilla ice.
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Vanilla Ice song Ice Ice Baby is originally Queen's song Under Pressure
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 QUEEN collaborated with DAVID BOWIE for "Under Pressure."
Guest poopsaver4000 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 David Bowie collaborated with Mick Jagger for "Dancing In The Streets"
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 MICK JAGGER was the frontman for THE ROLLING STONES, who lended the song "Paint It Black" to the movie STIR OF ECHOES, which starred part-time recording artist KEVIN BACON.
Guest Fort Detrick Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Kevin Bacon is an actor/singer, much like Jon Bon Jovi is a singer turned actor
Guest raptor Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Bon Jovi referenced Frank Sinatra in the song It's My Life
Guest Fort Detrick Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 The song "New York, New York" was made famous by Frank Sinatra and has been covered by everyone from the gremlins to Chris Jericho, who fronts the band FOZZY.
Guest mesepher Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Fozzy performed on RAW much like "Kiss" performed on ECW TV in 95
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 The members of KISS wore make-up, much like the modern-day Misfits
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Misfits former vocalist was Glenn Danzig
Guest poopsaver4000 Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Glenn Danzig just did some tour dates with Prong.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Prong is almost spelled the same as "Pong".
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 Prong also toured with Type O Negative
Guest poopsaver4000 Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 Type O Negative did a cover of a Beatles song.
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Eric Clapton has played with the Beatles on the song While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Guest mesepher Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 The Beatles recorded "Sgt. Pepper" at the same time Pink Floyd recorded "Piper at the Gates of Dawn"
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 The guitarist on that album, Syd Barrett went nuts and put out a couple bizarre solo albums.
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Once Roger Watters left, Tony Levin became the bassist of Pink Floyd, which he is also in a band called Liquid Tension Experement
Guest mesepher Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 actually, Tony Levin only played on A Momentary Lapse.... Guy Pratt was the bassist for the Momentary Lapse World Tour, and the Division Bell album and tour... Â so... I'll link off of Levin... which he played Bass for King Crimson at one time also
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 John Paul Jones opened for King Crimson earlier this year.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 John Paul Jones, the former bassist of Led Zeppelin.
Guest mesepher Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Led Zeppelin's drummer, John Bonham, was known for being a wildman, on and off the stage... as was the WHO's Keith Moon
Guest Choken One Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 The WHO appeared on a Episode of Simpsons as did Micheal Jackson. (as least his persona)
Guest Anglesault Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Michael jackson owns the rights to the Beatles
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby was butchered in spectacular fashion by Godhead
Guest TUS_02 Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Godhead played at Ozzfest. The main attraction, was of course Ozzy Ozzbourne, who now uses MIKE "PUFFY" BORDIN as his drummer
