Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted August 18, 2002 A Fozzy original Fozzy ain't half bad...I downloaded a few of their tracks, including covers off of their first album, and they really did get a bad rap because they covered 80's metal...oh yes, and they're horrible HORRIBLE performance at WWF New York...er...THE WORLD that one time. Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted August 19, 2002 hmm any good fozzy songs to download?
Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted August 20, 2002 Recommendations, in order of quality: 1. Happenstance 2. Crucify Yourself 3. L.O.V.E. Machine 4. To Kill a Stranger Their first album wasn't really that great, but this new one is AWESOME, 100x better than their first. It really is a quality album, a lot of fun to listen to in the car. In a slightly related note, my friend, who is an indy wrestler, loves stuff like this, says it gets him in the mood for his matches, and Fozzy is great for an andrenaline rush. Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted August 20, 2002 Old-school metal, while not as heavy as the newer (REAL) metal bands, definitely provoke more of a rush. The Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Diamond Head, Metallica...mmmmmm... I'd also suggest Fozzy's cover of "Blackout," originally by The Scorpions. For some reason, I like EVERY version of this song EXCEPT for the original...yes, I even liked Six Feet Under's cover of it with guest vocals by Anthrax/Armored Saint frontman John Bush.
