Regarding Global Warning DVD

From Lance Storm's commentary:

"I was lucky enough to do on extra excursion, this trip as well. They had several outings, which were filmed for Confidential and will also be used for extras on the Global Warning DVD. Christian, Kurt Angle, and I did one of these and the highlight of which was a trip to the Zoo. Okay, granted a trip to the Zoo isn’t usually a big highlight but we were taken on a special tour and they took us right inside the animal enclosures. We got to feed and pet the animal. We got to feed Giraffes, Kangaroos, Tree Kangaroos, and Koalas. Fortunately I took my digital camera with me so I got some great shots. The Tree Kangaroos and the Koalas were our favourites as we got to handle both of them. The Koalas were unbelievably cute and soft. Kurt wanted to adopt one; he just couldn’t get enough of them. I preferred Timmy the Tree Kangaroo because we got closest to him; he was by far the most hands on of all the animals.

This was a great show and definitely an event worth picking up on DVD when it comes out. "

All I can say is I will definately pick this DVD up the day it comes out cause it looked so awesome. Just posting this incase anyone was curious if their was a DVD or not.

Won't it be shopzone only?

lol, hopefully not. They are so fucking stupid for having that stipulation on JD.

Then again, KOTR wasn't a Shopzone exclusive...so maybe they realized how fucking stupid they were for even trying.

I'll probably get that DVD when it comes out. Oh, the Judgment Day DVD isn't Shopzone exclusive. I saw it the other day at Future Shop, and I'll be buying it tomorrow, along with the Backlash DVD.

It might hit retail stores after a "Shopzone exclusive" period. Wasn't the Tough Enough 1 box set Shopzone-only for a while, before it arrived in stores?

They showed the Lance Storm/Kurt Angle/Christian stuff on Confidential tonight and it was really cute. Even if it is just a "glorified house show", I'd pick up the DVD if it was priced decently. It's probably the same price as other WWE DVD's though, right? So that's... $20? $25? Can't remember.

That's kind of strange to me. I would have thought that both Canada and the U.S. would have Judgment Day available in stores at the same time.

It would only be like $15 at Future Shop probably. B)

The way I figure it is WWE does thier own DVD/video placing in the states and Koch does it in canada. We usually end up with DVD's about 3 weeks after the US date. At least where I am. And even if they are available in canada, getting them here is a crap shoot, depending if Zellars or Blockbuster is carrying WWE stuff this week

Yeah, an international house show that had like 55, 000 people...

Regardless, it should be a decent DVD.

Anyone know the matches that went down?

Here's a list I stole from the Observer's website:

· Rikishi d. Rico ("Kiss My Ass Match")

· Mark Henry & Randy Orton d. D-Von & Bautista

· Jamie Knoble d. Hurricane (CW Title)

· Hardcore Holly & Chavo Guerrero Jnr d. Billy & Chuck

· Kurt Angle d. Test

· Lance Storm & Christian d. Rey Mysterio Jnr & Billy Kidman

· Edge d. Chris Jericho

· Torrie Wilson d. Stacy Keibler ("Bra & Panties Match")

· The Rock d. HHH & Brock Lesnar (Triple Threat For The Undisputed Title)

You can read about the show in detail here: http://www.liveaudiowrestling.com/wo/news/...lt.asp?aID=5550

But outta those matches Angle/Test, Storm Christian/Rey Kidman and Jericho/Edge were really any good.

That Billy and Chuck match was awful! Stalling for 5-10 minutes, the crowd started the good ole boring chant in that one!

It's being released here in Mid-November, so I guess a little while before or after that

I'll probably buy the Global Warning DVD. Speaking of DVDs, when's the King of the Ring DVD scheduled to be released?
