Guest Brian Report post Posted February 23, 2002 WWF RAW – 11/12/01 JR and Paul Heyman run through the Survivor Series card (Rock vs. Austin, Jericho vs. Undertaker (retirement match), X-Pac vs. Jeff Hardy, and Shamrock/Booker T/RVD/Test vs. APA/Angle/Kane). They also mention that if your going to houseshows this coming weekend, you may be able to catch a Cruiserweight Tournament match. In Bristol, Tennessee will be Tajiri vs. Kidman and Sho Funaki vs. Chavo Guerrero. On the International HEAT this Sunday before the PPV will feature Essa Rios vs. Matt Hardy. Remember, you can only check out these matches for now by attending live events. Heyman says that today, the tournament takes another turn because tonight, the Alliance will reveal their mystery member in a match against TAKA Michinoku. (Rey’s music) And right now, Rey and Juventud are going to bring some fast-paced action right to you. Cruiserweight G-1 Tournament Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Juventud Guerrera Juventud defeated Rey when he reversed the pin on a hurricanrana and used the ropes for three at 8:36. Undertaker and Kane discuss how they’re going to take care of Test and Booker T tonight. <Commercial Break> Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring. He says that this Sunday on pay per view, at the Survivor Series in North Carolina, he’s not just going to end Undertaker’s career. He’s going to destroy its legacy. It’s time that Undertaker stepped down. Jericho is going to prove why he deserves this belt on Sunday. (Undertaker’s music) Undertaker comes down to the ring, and gets in Jericho face. Jericho is going too far. It’s bad enough he stepped in Taker’s yard, and then cost Taker a match, but now he wants to write checks his ass can’t cash. Jericho’s going to learn this Sunday not to mess with the big dog. Undertaker starts to leave the ring, but then Jericho stops him. “You owe me an answer. Are you so confident that you can beat me that you will put the most valuable thing for you on the line this Sunday?” “Chris, you’ve made mistakes in the past, but I didn’t think you were stupid enough to do this. I guess I’m going to be taking that belt from you on Sunday then.” The back of the mystery alliance member is shown backstage. All that is seen is a white robed, hooded figure. <Commercial Break> Austin tells Shamrock that he did a good job with Rock on Thursday, but Shamrock says he doesn’t give a damn. RVD interrupts, and Austin gets pissed with both guys and says he’s going to punish them by going against the Dudleys. Mystery Alliance Member vs. TAKA Michinoku TAKA is in the ring as the music goes off. Moody Blues “Nights in White Satin” hits the speaker, and a man with a white robe and the hood pulled all the way over his face comes down to the ring. He hops up on the apron, gets in the ring, falls to a knee, kneels towards Heyman, and Heyman yells at him to lift up his hood. The hood if lifted to reveal Christopher Daniels. Heyman says that Daniels has wrestled all around the world, for WCW, and was once the highest paid person in ECW. Back and forth, until they hit the nine-minute mark (TV matches have a ten minute time limit), and they go into a pin- reversal sequence. Daniels gets back up, they do a quick trade off, duck each other’s finishers, and Daniels hits the Russian leg sweep into a pin at 9:51. Hardcore and Crash Holly make their way into the arena and gte jumped by the Impact Players. Credible tells them to never cost them they cost the players the titles last Thursday. <Commercial Break> Backstage, Christopher Daniels is welcomed into the Alliance by all the Alliance members except for the cruiserweights. Tazz and Christian vs. Spike Dudley and Edge While Edge and Christian brawl on the outside, Spike goes for the Dudley Dog but Tazz blocks. Spike leaps a charge and rolls Tazz up for the pin at 7:12. <Commercial Break> Shane and Austin are talking in the back as we return. Austin says he’s taken the time to invite a very important guest to the Survivor Series to watch the Alliance triumph over the WWF. Booker T and Test vs. Kane and Undertaker Undertaker pins Test after Test misses a big boot and gets hit with a chokeslam, while Kane and Booker T brawl on the outside at 5:24. Regal and Foley are in the office and they just signed off on another Survivor Series match. Tazz, the Impact Players, and Christian will take on Spike Dudley, the Holly’s, and Edge. <Commercial Break> Austin makes his way out to the ring. He says that he has a couple of announcements to make. First off, he will have an inspirational guest at Survivor Series. Secondly, after the Rock loses yet another match to Austin on Sunday, Austin will send selected WWF members contract. Rock’s music hits and he says that Austin is one confident son of a bitch. He better hope he doesn’t lose his title match tonight against Angle. Austin says that if the Rock has a lot of confidence, maybe he and Jericho should put their titles on the line in the Shamrock/Angle vs. Dudleys WCW title match. Austin says Foley can sign it, it’s a unification match. Does the Rock feel confident enough to accept, or does the Rock fear losing like he should come Survivor Series. Rock agrees. Backstage, Jericho watches the whole segment in disgust. He gets pissed about rock making them defend the titles. Undertaker walks by, taps the WCW title, and says Jericho can drop the tag titles, but that’s the only belt he cares about. Jericho shoots him a glare as he walks away. <Commercial Break> WWF Championship Austin vs. Angle Austin wins at 11:51 after he hits three stunners on Angle. Post match, Austin yells at Kurt for not getting up. Backstage, Shamrock watches Angle on the monitor and laughs. RVD walks by and says that they might as well get used to teaming before Survivor Series. <Commercial Break> Tag Team Title Unification Match Dudleys (WCW) vs. Rock/Jericho (WWF) vs. RVD/Shamrock The whole match erupts around ten minutes as Shamrock and the Rock brawl on the outside, and with Jericho knocked out, the Dudleys are able to hit the 3D to pin RVD at 11:29. Post match, the Dudleys set up a table and pick up Jericho, but Undertaker stops that and leaves. The camera focuses on a bewildered Jericho as RAW fades out. Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted February 24, 2002 That was good, but Angle shouldn't lose during that period. I liked him.
Guest Brian Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I liked Angle too but I was adding depth to his character so he was going to drop some matches in the course of the Shamrock feud.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted February 25, 2002 If Angle's with the WWF, has he gotten his medals back?
Guest Brian Report post Posted February 25, 2002 Yeah, I never through him in with the Alliance. That was one of the things that pissed me off and got me into writing these, as well as Jericho losing the WCW belt in two weeks. There were more factors, like just the handling of the mid-card and the Invasion, but I was just pissed as a whole.
