Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Is there a way I can convert MP3 files into .WAV files? My CD-R only allows .WAV files to be burned to a CD...
Guest Bricks Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Go to www.download.com and find yourself an mp3 to wav converter. That's what I did.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Winamp also has a built-in plugin for writing MP3s to WAV files: - Go to Options/Preferences - Go to Plugins/Output - Select "Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in" - Click on Configure to choose where Winamp will place the resulting WAV file on your comp And then just play the file - there won't be any sound, but it will zoom through, converting and squirting it out to your specified directory. Then just put it back to the Winamp waveOut plug-in and resume your mp3 listening pleasure.
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 MusicMatch jukebox works as well, though it's not a great piece of software.
Guest razazteca Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 are you using Roxio CD Creater? get a diff cd burner program like Prassi Primo CD Plus, it has a built in mp3 converter, with this you will never have to worry about WAV ever again.
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 Try dbPowerAmp ; it will convert pretty much anything into anything else, and it's free. It's here.
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Music Match works. Just go to File, Convert Files, and go to the directory on the left you want the mp3 from, then click on the right for it to say "WAV" then hit "convert."
