Guest GameCop Report post Posted August 20, 2002 I just saw the FOZZY band sing their @$$'s off and they seriously had some good backround music, but when Chris Jericho sang, it was like hearing my mom sitting in the toilet having constipation... Not only that FOZZY should be in like MTV's Top 20, but of course with out Y2J, they should put like Mai Young or someone, JK, More Like KIDDROCK! Anyways post your reply in what you thought of there performance on RAW!
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted August 20, 2002 He sounds good on the album. I think Fozzy is like Everclear - good on CD, bad in person.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted August 20, 2002 which band is Fozzy-sans-Jericho? Stuck Mojo?
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted August 20, 2002 I think Jericho's vocal delivery was a little weak, but it sounds OK in the studio stuff, from what I've heard in the commercials anyway.
Guest justsoyouknow Report post Posted August 20, 2002 He sounds really good on the CD, my friends have actually commented that he's a pretty decent frontman for being a wrestler. As for his performance on Raw, I haven't seen it, but from what I've heard....negative. And I thought Moongoose's gimmick was that he didn't know Chris Jericho? When did they become the same person? DAMN YOU WWE! DAMN YOU!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 20, 2002 I doubt Jericho will find success singing like the Rock has acting. Its not bad, but its not anything great either.
Guest GeneMean Report post Posted August 20, 2002 Odds are he had a poor monitor mix. It can be tough to hear yourself and sing when you've got a drummer going full bore behind you as well as a wall of 4X12 guitar cabinets.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted August 20, 2002 I had to change the channel cause it was so bad tonight. When you add Jericho singing, lights that make people have seizures, and some fucking PIG talking....well, no thanks. Â Stick to wrestling, Chris.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 20, 2002 problem with the mic? Â hmmm..... Â *coughHHHcough*
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted August 20, 2002 The song is actually pretty decent. I'm sure a lot more albums will be sold with this performance. But the best part was when Ric Flair started breaking the amps and guitar. I loved how he just flung it into the cameraman and the poor saps sitting in the front row. Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted August 20, 2002 I thought the band was pretty good. jericho himself was decent I suppose. I just found it interesting that they have Fozzy perform on RAW when Jericho is a heel, which will make people automatically hate it.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted August 20, 2002 problem with the mic? hmmm.....  *coughHHHcough* I already wrote once today how blaming HHH for the most ludicrious things, even as an attempt for humor, has gone beyond humorous and has now become boring and trite.  Seriously, it's gone beyond WrestleMania IV boring. It's currently heading into WrestleMania 9 boring, and it's about to hit "An entire year of cards headlined by Undertaker vs Austin" boring.  I ask you and others to please stop. Not for anything related to HHH himself, but to keep the board fresh.

Guest notJames Report post Posted August 20, 2002 Not for nothing, but all those knobs and buttons you see in studios? They're there to make anyone sound good. Plus, singers do multiple retakes on vocals until they get it absolutely perfect. Who knows how long Chris had to stay in the studio to finish the CD? Â Jericho needs to stick to wrestling. Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted August 20, 2002 Do you people realize that Fozzy has been around for years? Â Â How is Jericho supposed to stick to wrestling, when you people say he wasnt good, when Fozzy has been going since the early 90's/late 80's (if im correct, Im not sure if its that long.) Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted August 20, 2002 No, Fozzy sans Jericho is a real band whose name escapes me*. Jericho was teamed with them last year. THAT was the birth of Fozzy. *Is it Stuck Mojo? Yeah, but I think one of the Stuck Mojo guys isn't in Fozzy. Stuck Mojo formed in 1991 and they joined Jericho in Fozzy in 1999. Stuck Mojo is more like rap-metal though, so it's not really Fozzy without Jericho, it's a different kind of band with some of the same guys.
Guest benoitrules2000 Report post Posted August 20, 2002 I have to say i thought the song and mojo were actually awesome but jericho really sucked which sort of suprised me because he has a good speaking voice so i thought a good singing voice would have been a natural progression. Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted August 20, 2002 As the resident SmartMarks Stuck Mojo Expert, I think I'll clear this up... Â Fozzy is NOT Stuck Mojo in disguise, and never was. Â Stuck Mojo was, from the live recording of HVY1 until their final studio recording of Declaration Of A Headhunter, 4 people: Bonz (rapped vocals), Rich Ward (rhythm guitar, lead guitar, sang vocals, death vocals, back-up vocals), Dan Dryden (bass, back-up vocals), and Bud Fontsere (drums, back-up vocals). Bonz and Rich Ward had a dispute, and so Stuck Mojo ended. Rich, the songwriter, wanted a more metal approach, whereas Bonz wanted more rap, so the two split paths. It also has been claimed that Rich Ward is a little full of himself. Â After Bonz departed to form his own rap group (the name of which escapes me at the moment), Ward, Bud, and Dan found another singer and formed SICK SPEED, using politically-based lyrics and 1977-1983 era hard rock/classic metal music with a slight Stuck Mojo twist (because, after all, it IS Rich Ward on guitar, and his riffs are pretty identifiable). Â However, while Stuck Mojo was still together, all of the members aside from Bonz joined friend Chris Jericho, who they met while shooting the music video for "Rising" (off of the album of the same name) and they were fans of ("Rising" takes place at a WCW event where Rich Ward and then-bassist Corey Lowery {now in Stereomud} were Tag Team champions), to form an old-school metal cover band. This year is said to be 1999 or 2000, depending on who you ask. Â Hope that clears it up a little bit. As for which guitarist was Rich Ward...he was the one that was headbanging, and had blonde-ish hair. Â ---THE WARD IS MY SHEPHERD---
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted August 20, 2002 You didn't mention that Lex Luger is in a way responsible for the formation of Fozzy. The way that they got the WCW guys to do the video for a relativly small band was that one of the guys worked out at the same gym as Lex Luger and became friends with him, so Lex got WCW to do the video. From there they met a lot of WCW wrestlers and became friends with some of them, including Chris Jericho. So they talked to Jericho a lot about heavy metal and I guess someone came up with the idea for them to start a band with him.
