Guest benoitrules2000 Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Benny Goodman is roasting heavenly s'mores off of Sinatra's alcohol-soaked, Mafia-branded hellbound ass. So, your gonna bash the guy because he knew how to have fun!?
Guest Goodear Report post Posted August 22, 2002 "Hello, Cleveland!" (and to be a little more obscure...) "Good night, Springton. There will be no encore!" This is a rock concert, not the bleedin' splish-splash show.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted August 22, 2002 bigjig, do you really think I listen to nu-metal? My favorite bands are Beyond The Embrace, Iron Maiden, Shadows Fall, Slayer, and Metallica...hey, look at that, REAL METAL. Don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about, because anybody that's a regular to the music folder will attest to my knowledge of the genre. And for the last time...STUCK MOJO IS NOT JERICHO'S BACK-UP BAND!! Stuck Mojo is DEAD. You hear me? DEAD. Bonz is gone, Dan Dryden is gone. NO MORE MOJO FUNK! Mucho good taste, my friend, but you need to chill a tad. I despise the so-called "nu metal" (are attention spans among this 3-chord wonders so short they don't want to spell a 3 letter word correctly?) as well. It's a shame there aren't really many guitar virtuosos like Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, and the late Jimi Hendrix and Randy Rhoads. And I assume we're talking Metallica up until Cliff Burton passed on. Master of Puppets kicks several shades of ass, my friend. Of course, my fave is still Iron Maiden. Hell, I've got Bruce Dickinson as my avatar. I am an Ozzy/Sabbath fan, but the fact that he puts up with being in "The Osbournes" is just proof positive that..well, Ozzy is a whore. Of course, he IS a famous frontman, and Kevin DuBrow will testify that that's a requirement, practically. Still, Dio always displayed much more dignity, and as far as I know he's always been pretty clean. I was in Pittsburgh over the summer to see a concert with Dio, the Scorpions, and Deep Purple. Kick ass show, and I loved all the bands involved. On reviewing the tape again, the bad sound quality could have something to do with the horribleness, but I thought the WWE production team shouldn't make such a huge mistake...and MONGOOSE should have been playing lead, because at least there was a chance of it not getting booed by default.
