It's a bit sad that more people don't recognize a song that's on what may be the greatest rock album ever. I like that song even more than Stairway to Heaven, in some ways.

This song had the misfortune of being on the same album as Black Dog, Rock and Roll, and Stairway to Heaven, and it got lost in the shuffle. Sad really, cause it's my favorite Zepplin song.

Ironcically both Misty Mountain Hop and Batlle of Evermore deal with the same topic: Lord of the Rings.

You're missing the point. I was merely pointing out even though it was very influencial and profoundly good, Led Zeppelin IV is obscure to most people. To me, that's a bit sad.

You know why I have doubts about God? Because Zepplin, who did more for rock music than I could possibly hope to write in one post, are comsidered archaic, just because the music was recorded a long time ago. Kids, it still kicks untold of amounts of ass.

And AustinHHH4Life, sorry if I didn't realize that you were a fun of Zepplin, but that song is right before Stairway to Heaven on Led Zeppelin IV, which is their most well known song on their most well-known album, so most Zeppelin-heads have heard of it. Sorry I assumed incorrectly. You really should listen to it, as it's one of the best tracks they ever recorded.
