Some people think that he, Jerome Drake, LexLugerRules, and maybe a couple of other banned IDs are all the same person. Mods, got the IP addresses on 'em?

Isn't it possible to ban posters by their IP address?

Well, Drake and LLR had their IP addresses banned (by me) before Necron showed up. Of course, if Drake was LLR, he was using a different IP, so it stands to reason he could have gotten one for Necron, too.

 

Besides, most dialup services use dynamic IP addressing, which makes pinning someone to a particular IP address difficult. Broadband services tend to use static IPs, and those are easy to ban.
