I hope Tommy Lee joins Drowning Pool full-force, so then they can cover "Get Naked"...

Well, his only single is nu-metal, so he can't really sing. I never liked him in the first place, Crue or anything, so I'm glad Ozzfest has come and gone here, so that I can avoid the human suck-cloud that is Tommy Lee.

Tommy Lee is an absolutely horrible singer. And the sad thing is, he's arguable the best drummer ever, and he doesn't drum on a single track on the new album.

He claims that this album is more rock and less techno. He's lying. This new album is pretty much Methods Of Mayhem pt. 2.

And I didn't think Drowning Pool could have gotten any worse...

No, MTV never said that in the first place... unless they erroneously reported it on TV and I missed it. When I checked out mtv.com earlier today, it said Tommy Lee was taking the place of Drowning Pool.

Ermmm.......Tommy Lee arguably the best drummer ever......WTF!?!

No cal beat me to it...

Tommy Lee is arguably one of the most OVERRATED drummers ever, but best? I beg to differ greatly on that subject. Crue never had anything that special on drums. Just basic beats so Mick Mars could solo over it. A drum solo doesn't make a drummer great.

As far as mainstream music goes, I don't think there's anyone better than Neal Peart. Keith Moon's up there, but Peart's longevity gets him the nod in my book. Danny Carey from Tool is really really really damn good as well.

Overall, IMO, there isn't a drummer in the world who can even TOUCH Flo Mounier from Cryptopsy. And I'm not saying that just because I'm fanatically into death and grind, I'm talking from a totally objective viewpoint, that dude is god on drums.

I was channel surfing and their news bit poped up...I stuck around to see what was up.

The only show I ever really watch on MTV is All Things Rock
