Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 21, 2002 surprisingly they showed JJ laying down for Hogan...and Hogan shooting on Russo... Now surprisingly they didn't show Russo's rebuttle. The program is a mix of nostalgia things...and Hogan rewritting history with him as Jesus.

Guest J*ingus Report post Posted August 21, 2002 Thanks, daredevil. I didn't know it had the Dibiase match. And hey look, they skipped about twelve years in between chapters 10 and 14.
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted August 21, 2002 I thought that this was definitely worth the $20 price. The fluff piece was ok, but I think that another hour would have helped. They pretty much left out 90-up to the WCW signing. His whole time in WCW was way too short. The extras are great. I'm really impressed with the video quality on some of the old stuff. It makes me wonder what could be if box sets of Mania, Survivor Series, SummerSlam, and so on were released. If they took 4 of Coliseum's Best of the WWF series and put on one disc that would sell, or atleast I'd buy.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted August 21, 2002 Are the chapter on Piper/ Piper match any good?
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted August 21, 2002 Are the chapter on Piper/ Piper match any good? The whole chapter on Piper lasts about a minute. Hogan just says that Piper wouldn't job and says that they could have done monster business in a program.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted August 21, 2002 I think Hogan and Piper did do monster business together in 85, Wrestlemania and the MTV show, etc..
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted August 21, 2002 I think Hogan and Piper did do monster business together in 85, Wrestlemania and the MTV show, etc.. Yeah, that's true, but I think he meant a big 1 on 1 blowoff with a clean fall.
Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted August 21, 2002 Yeah, I don't think it can be denied that these two drew in some monster amounts of cash and fans, but when you think about it, it was never really settled. When all was said and done, we were right back at square one again. I think that's why Hogan referred to it as just "messing around," since it never really went anywhere.
