Guest Downhome Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 Just a question I'm currious as to what you guys think, the topic speaks for itself. :D
Guest razazteca Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 BPS the elder stateman You seem to know alot Jingus knowledge is in the upper 50% I know very little as a casual fan
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I think I know the most. I do know the most. I am the livest. I am also a compulsive liar.
Guest TestKick Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I'm the only one here that sees the greatness of Test. The rest of you are dumb fucks. Oh well.
Guest Downhome Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I'm the only one here that sees the greatness of Test. The rest of you are dumb fucks. Oh well. For what it's worth, I'm a fan of Test for the most part, seriously. I'm just fine with his work in the ring, and I look at him as an improved version of Diesel. When he speaks however, my liking for him drops a bit, I almost can't stand his voice. When he came out on RAW though, I marked out, so sue me. :D I think DangerousA knows quite a bit, or at least makes some pretty good discussions most of the time. Brian is also one that I take notice of, Jingus also obviously knows his sh*T, and obviously bps.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I really don't know that much...I just don't stray into the topics that I don't know and start posting. My knowledge of anything before 1987 is about 0...and I only know stuff about North America anyway. Now that I think about it... I really don't know much at all. RickyChoshyu and Jingus do though.
Guest NazMistry Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I'm the only one here that sees the greatness of Test. The rest of you are dumb fucks. Oh well. I just read that and laughed.
Guest J*ingus Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 In overall knowledge I ain't that bad, but plenty of guys in the Puro folder smoke me for breakfast in terms of overseas stuff. And we all bow down in inferiority to the gods that are the DVDVR Playaz. Whatever happened to Brian, anyway?
Guest Incandenza Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Maybe 'cuz I hardly ever step into the WWE folder--so I haven't had the chance to get sick of him--but TestKick amuses me.
Guest RobJohnstone Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I'm pretty well rounded in puro and NA histories. I know little about lucha but I could compete in an all around contest. But then again I have no credibility because of squables with some idiots here. --Rob
Guest TestKick Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 RobStone also knows how to stalk Risk looking for wee wee in his bum bum!~

Guest Daredevil21 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Well when he posted here, I think Loss4Words had (and still has) a great knowledge of the business. Sassquatch also has knows about some of the most obseure shit ever. Teke184 is also boasts a nice knowledge of the biz, which is even more impressive considering he just got back into watching wrestling a few years ago. I don't know much about wrestling, since my only real solid knowledge lies in the WWF from the mid 80's and early 90's.
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I don't really know that much, but, to keep from looking like an idiot, I keep to the topics that I know about. Its a good idea, really....
Guest crandamaniac Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Dace59. The man has such an intense knowledge of any wrestling move ever attempted
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Well, Jingus seems to know what he's talking about. Maybe it's just the way he presents what he does know, but he definitely gives off an air of confidence in what he says. He's also right about some guys in the puro section that are wise beyond anything I could ever imagine. Jubuki probably has the most sophisticated, yet logical mind for the wrestling business that I have ever seen, as he can see the underlying details and the stylistic nuances of various matches better than anyone I've seen. Unfortunately, his er... "blunt" style seems to turn people away from listening to him, which is really a shame. Wolverine deserves mention aswell, as he is quite profictient with his puro and understanding matches. Brian is not only good at discussing matches but knows about some obscure early ninties indies stuff that most people would have never heard of. Loss4Words knew tons about wrestling history, from a lot of aspects. Very smart guy. BPS is also very impressive when it comes to knowing his stuff. Knows his NA wrestling very well, and understands the wrestling business very, very well.
Guest HBK WILL ROT IN HELL Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Jay Bower aka El Cubano. Knows his WWF History pretty well. He'd ahve to be up there.
Guest Dames Edna Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Not to brag, but I think I am a pretty slick cat when it comes to the bizniss. My girlfriends brothers friends cousin is dating Brian Gerwitz. I hear about all the angles before they happen I think Brian, RickyChosyu, Loss, Sass, Teke, Daredevil, and the Masked Yodeler have a pretty sane, and intelligent outlook on the business. I respect anything, and pretty much everything these guys have to say about the business.

A newbie + claiming to have connections with someone in the business + using a long confusing line of connection + claiming to "know all the angles before they happen" = Saying something like that only makes you look a fool. How about ya prove it, to us? That way, you will be able to be taken seriously.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I know a lot of WWF/E and WCW stuff but I know nothing about puro or lucha or anything like that

I'm not sayin that he's lying or not, but just cause he doesn't have 1043943894 posts doesn't make him an idiot or some jackass "newbie" who doesn't know what he's talking about. I don't agree with all he says, but some good talk can usually occur when he's around. Just cause someone hasn't posted 4 trillion times on this board doesn't make them new to wrestling.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I would say RickyChosyu is the most knowledgable as he knows a lot about both Puro and NA, whereas its usually one or the other.

You are exactly right, I didn't say say that to start with. My point, is that some "newbies" make it a habbit to show up and then start saying stuff like that, just to get attention. If he knows someone, then great, prove it to us though so he can be taken seriously when he mentions it.
Guest Daredevil21 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Ah, ok. Just sounded like you were saying that because he was new on this board, he couldn't possibly be telling the truth. Once again, I have no opinion on whether what he said is true or not.

And suceeded quite well at it, I might add.

Guest TestKick Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I watch Puro, therefore I am better than you. Lowly plebeians.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 But you like Test so it cancels the puro out
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 The idea of Bdub and Testkick being the same person is actually very plosible, seeing as both of their gimicks are getting over so well around here (anti-smark joker and Test fanatic, respectively).
