Guest midnight_burn Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I hope the WWE doesn't bring Luger back. He offers absolutely nothing, he's bad in the ring, nobody cares about him. I'd rather see just about anyone else in the WWE than Luger.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 As an admitted mark of his '89 work, I have to say that I could live without ever seeing him wrestle again, ever. Actually, I'm really trying to forget the ninties when it comes to him, because it's rather painfull at times. Downhome, it would be easier to debate the quality of Konnan with you if you would actually list the matches where he seemed compitent. From what I've seen, he was just complete turd and watching someone like Guererro doing his laundry would be more entertaining than a Konnan match. Peal his potatoes indeed.
Guest jester Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I was a fan of Luger's work with certain people in the late 80's and early 90's, but seriously, his day is LONG gone. If he can't wrestle anymore, he can use his extraordinary natural charisma to get over. Must...keep...straight...face...

Guest The Man in Blak Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 It's not even worth joking about. When the best match you've had in the last five years is laying down in under a minute to a pair of WCW rookies...I think it's time to hang 'em up. But, alas, all Luger cares about is the money and, as per usual, the WWE is more than capable of giving it to him. I just think it's sad that, rumor or not, people inside and outside of the WWE are pairing Lex Luger with current wrestling entertainment.
Guest Olympic Slam Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 If he can't wrestle anymore, he can use his extraordinary natural charisma to get over. Must...keep...straight...face... Who needs charisma (also trying to keep a straight face) when you got a bus!

Who needs charisma (also trying to keep a straight face) when you got a bus! You are exactly right, plus who knows, he might show up on a battle ship and body slam Rikishi or something, that will be SURE go get him over!
Guest creativename Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 *Billy and Chuck music hits* *Billy, Chuck and Luger come out in their matching tights* *Luger poses with a mirror* He can be the Gay Narcissist! That would be quite a funny gimmick. Offensive, but funny. Just imagine the skits: Camera walks in on Luger sitting down, holding a mirror in one hand with the other beneath a blanket. The camera interrupts Luger as he's humping a mirror. Luger looks at Stasiak and says, "Hey, you remind me of someone.... How's about you come over to my pad for a couple of beers this weekend...?" ...or maybe not
Guest SlowChemical6 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Who cares if Luger sucks? That's part of why he's so goddamn funny. I LOVE BAD WRESTLING, BAH GAWD!!! We want Luger.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Sadly, my mother used to be a huge Luger mark. She doesn't watch wrestling any more, but If I told her Luger was showing up, she'd probably start watching. Luger = Ratings???? I doubt the # of people who would tune in for Luger would be > than the # of people who would change the channel...
Guest converge241 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 i think even the WWE has enough common sense to not bring him in now. he was pretty funny in his last stint feuding with Goldberg but obviously that does not make him worth anything
Guest Just call me Dan Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 The guy is funny. But he can't bump, punch, sell, has 3 moves and can't even STOMP effectively in a heel beatdown. He's absolutely pathetic in the ring sand if anything he's not even deserving to be on TV as a jobber. If they brought him back, I could see it as a Mr. Perfect type thing where he starts off proected and in the upper card until slowly falling right down when it is realized he doesn't have anymore. I'm sure Lex wouldn't be too cheap and he just needs to stay away from the WWE, and hopefully the NWA:TNA as well.
Guest BobbyBacklund Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 For some reason, Lex is one of those guys I watch because he's entertaining not in a wrestling sense but in a comedic sense. When someone tries to slam his face on a table, he slams his hands than holds his face in agony even though it was never closer than two feet from the table. He's like Sid, PURE entertainment if you are into sadistic, pathetic humour.
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 everytime Wrestlers go on Radio Shows they always seem to make the prediction they were going to the WWF. If Luger does come back for some Company Killing reason I wonder if he will throw another passive aggressive Tempertantrum by laying down and not getting up after jobbing to Edge.
Guest buffybeast Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 must...resist...must..resist :avoids cheap shot: Albert Oh dammit. You're joking, right? No one with an ounce of sense could say that Albert is a worse wrestler than fucking roid ragin', 3 move having no selling Luger??????
